Die Unterkunft ist in einem kleinen Dorf gelegen und liegt zwischen Larnaca und Limassol, sodass man mit dem Auto diese zügig ansteuern kann. Die Räumlichkeiten waren gepflegt und haben insgesamt überzeugt. In fußläufiger Nähe gibt es eine Taverne und ein MiniMarkt, sodass man grds nicht aus Tochni müsste, um das nötigste einzukaufen. Strände sind mit dem Auto in circa 15-20 Minuten erreichbar. Parkplätze vorhanden. Als Ausflugstipp empfehle ich die Donkey Farm, die in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen ist.

The place did not provide bathing soap for a start. House keeping was good. 3 minutes down a slope was a mini supermarket for basic items. Water, bread etc....

Characterful property in historic village

We had a beautiful, characterful one bedroom apartment with a very well-equipped kitchen in an area of the development with its own small pool and three or four other apartments, none of which was occupied during our three-night visit in mid November. When we arrived, there was a welcome pack including everything for a light meal, but the TV signal kept cutting out, and we weren't able to operate the safe (there were no instructions). But having mentioned this in our Expedia check-in review, someone contacted us immediately, and it was sorted out the following morning. One of the owners also later paid a visit to make sure the problems had been ironed out. The property has beautiful flagstone floors, and some walls that are bare stone, so it is difficult to keep dust free, and might be problematic for someone with allergies. Walking to the nearest taverna was tricky in the dark, especially as there was a problem with the village lights. Take a torch or your phone! The second larger pool, in a separate area with several more apartments overlooking it, was lovely, and we made use of it although it was unheated and a bit on the chilly side owing to the time of year. Over all, a lovely and unusual place, and we will definitely return one day.

Handy for my needs.

I arrived early at the house. I contacted the number and they told me to wait. It was searing heat and no shade available. I complained and they sent someone over to atleast let me drop my bags off then I went and done other business before being checked in. It is a nice house. Very clean. The pool is really small. It doesn't look like the photographs.

Perfekt für einen entspannten Urlaub

super nenoviertes altes Gebäude in dem schönen, alten Dorf Tochni. Das Studio war sauber und toll ausgestattet, schönes Badezimmer. Toller Swimmingpool. Sehr ruhige Umgebung. Authentisches Speiselokal mit lecker Essen! Perfekt für einen entspannten Urlaub.

Schöne Unterkunft in idyllischem Dorf

Meine Ehefrau und ich waren bereits zum 3. Mal seit 2012 im Eveleos Country House. Wie jedes Jahr waren wir auch diesmal absolut zufrieden. Wir haben ein kleines Appartement mit Schlafzimmer, Bad und Wohnküche gemietet. Gefrühstückt haben wir jeden Tag auf der Terrasse am Pool, direkt vor unserem Zimmer mit Ausblick auf das idyllische Tochni. Wie man aus dem Vorhandensein einer Wohnküche schließen kann, handelt es sich um ein Selbstversorgerhotel. Dies stellt jedoch kein Problem dar, der Dorfladen ist zu Fuß zu erreichen und hat jeden Tag geöffnet. Man bekommt dort einfach alles, vom Kaffee bis zur Briefmarke. Das Hotel selbst ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Küche ist ebenso wie die sanitären Anlagen voll funktionsfähig, ein Fön ist ebenfalls vorhanden.sowoh Unser Aufenthalt dauerte eine Woche, wir haben an dem einen Tag einfach nur am Pool entspannt, am nächsten Tag sind wir zu Sightseeingtouren aufgebrochen. Dies ist sehr gut möglich, da Tochni in der Nähe der Autobahn zwischen Larnaka und Pafos liegt, man kann somit jedes Ziel in der Republik Zypern innerhalb von maximal 2,5 Stunden erreichen, die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten noch viel schneller. Ein Mietwagen ist jedoch Pflicht, da in Zypern nur ein öffentliches Busnetz existiert. In Tochni selbst gibt es 4 Tavernen, wobei gerade die Taverne oberhalb der Kirche aufgrund des ausgezeichneten Essens ein Geheimtipp ist. Wir können sowohl Zypern als Reiseziel als auch den Aufenthalt im Eveleos Country House bedenkenlos empfehlen

excellent hotel near to everything by car

Very nice hotel with beautiful view from the swimming pool side. Very comfortable stay, but we did not find pleasant walking tours around. It is 15 min by car to historical places, a nice beach and the best fish taverns in Cyprus.

Place to stay in Tochni

Nice property in tiny & lovely Tochni. The owner, his wife and Teresa were all super kind.Very clean, comfy beds.The only recommendation is to bring with You toiletries products (no shampoo, nor conditioner, just normal liquid hand soap).

Hervorragendes Hotel für Individualisten

Nachdem es uns beim ersten Mal schon so gut gefallen hat, wurden wir auch beim zweiten Mal nicht enttäuscht. Mittlerweile gibt es ein Eveleos B, in dem wir dieses Mal genächtigt haben. Dieses ist ebenfalls hervorragend in Schuss. Man verfügt über zwei große Räume, eine neue Einbauküche mit Fernseher und Couch sowie ein großes Schlafzimmer. Den gepflegten Pool teilt man sich mit anderen Urlaubern der Anlage, was jedoch kein Problem darstellt. An sich ist man Selbstversorger, bei Ankunft ist jedoch für Brot, Marmelade, Butter und Wasser bereits gesorgt, so dass man ungeachtet der Ankunftszeit nicht verhungern muss. Im Dorf Tochni gibt es einen Supermarkt, der zwar sehr klein ist, aber wirklich alles hat. In Tochni gibt es zwei Restaurants, wobei uns das Restaurant in der Dorfmitte (Coffee Shop) erheblich besser gefallen und geschmeckt hat. Im Nostos, dem anderen Restaurant, sind die Gerichte zu sehr "kommerzialisiert" und einander angeglichen. Von Tochni aus kann man aufgrund des gut ausgebauten Straßen- und Autobahnnetzes die gesamte Insel bequem mit dem Auto erkunden - ohne in den touristischen Hochburgen Limassol und Larnaka oder Agia Napa untergebracht zu sein, genießt man nach den Ausflügen die Ursprünglichkeit und Gemütlichkeit eines zypriotischen Bergdorfs.

A wonderful holiday at the Eveleos Country House

We had a wonderful stay at the Eveleos Country House hotel. The directions from the airport were easy to follow and we arrived at the beautiful village of Tochni. We stayed in a lovely apartment with private terrace and small pool that we had to ourselves most of the time. The owner had left us some bread, water, eggs and milk which was a really thoughtful gesture. We also had pastries left one evening and on our last night we were treated to Brandy Sours on the terrace - a typical Cypriot drink. The location was great for seeing the whole of the island and we went hiking in the mountains a number of times and also went up to the Avakas Gorge and Lara Beach which was a lovely day. Our favourite walks were the the Caledonia falls which goes out of Platres and the Madari Mountain trail which is just near Spilia. We had dinner in the local taverna in Tochni village square which was great value and tasty food. Overall it was a great stay in a lovely place.

Lovely place

Great set of apartments - very peaceful. You need a car to get here and to visit places but its a nice change from the cities. Small village with a great little restaurant down the road. Apartment was very clean and well-presented with everything you need for a few days stay.

Schönes Haus, guter Service, sehr sauber! Gute Lage für Ausflüge richtung Pafos und Larnaca oder auch ins Troodos-Gebirge. Bedenkenlos weiter zu empfehlen!

Glorious terrace.

Everything was at least as good as the pictures. The stepped terrace was filled with geraniums, oleander, mint, olive trees and led down to the glistening pool with a background of hills around the village. The maid was delightful and changed all the linen every other day. The furnishings were tasteful and outside there were plenty of chairs, tables and loungers to use. The village is very quiet but everyone is friendly and there is a small village shop and two good Cypriot tavernas. The Tochni Tavern is very good. The motorway is not too close and not too far and takes you easily to the main towns and cities. The weather at the end of May was brilliant - sunny everyday and not too humid.

Un superbe gîte dans un très beau village.

A notre arrivée, une lettre à notre intention nous attendait sur la porte du gîte, question de nous souhaiter la bienvenue. De plus, il y avait de quoi se mitonner un bon pt déj le lendemain matin : du pain, des oeufs, du beurre, de la confiture,... C'est un très bel endroit et notre "appartement" était bien confortable.

All what you need for holiday and business

Perfect. I could not find the reception (maybe it was just me). There was a lovely welcome letter and their phone number. There was no need to call as everything was in order. The internet was fast and the room was quite. I would have loved to stay for a week or 2 but I had to get back to work.

Country charm in the middle of Cyprus

One of the best value for money picks in Cyprus. Anyone looking for a beautiful place in an area away from the madness of coastal resorts should highly consider Eveleos. The village of Tochni is also a place to find a more genuine Cyprus experience.

Super Unterkunft - schöner Ort ohne großen Rummel

Das Eveleos Country House eignet sich für alle, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen. Der Ort Tochni besitzt Tavernen und einen kleinen Lebensmittelmarkt für das Notwendigste. Jedoch sind in der näheren Autoumgebung ca. 10 Minuten größere Märkte erreichbar. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett, sprechen auch deutsch. Die Übergabe der Ferienwohnung hat reibungslos geklappt. Auch ist bei späten Ankünften am Abend schon für das 1. Frühstück vorgesorgt. Ein Mietwagen ist unbedingt erforderlich. Dann ist Tochni jedoch ein idealer Standort für die verschiedensten Ausflüge. Zu schönen Stränden muss man jedoch länger fahren. Wir waren im Mai dort. Idealer Zeitraum auch für Wanderungen.

relaxing holliday

excellent location for a quiet relaxing stay, the pool is in the centre of the building and is surrounded by lots of flowers which makes it a very pleasant and relaxing place to be. You need a car to travel to and around the area. If you want a get away from it all holliday go here, if you want night life and hectic pace, stay away.Overall excellent.
