「Yami was very accommodating and helpful with our needs around the area, getting a unit with a kitchenette, getting food, changing money and doing laundry. She is a great host, the room and common spaces were very clean. The location is great for shopping, groceries, restaurants, and across the street from beach access. It's at the end of the street, so very quiet as well. I would recommend to anyone. 」

「Amelia was an amazing host and provided great service. She has a very beautiful yard that’s gated for better security. The room had a big comfy king size bed with ac, tv, fridge and a rooftop patio facing the ocean. The location was nice and close to restaurants and downtown Varadero. She’s got a lovely little dog that’s nice to hang out with. I’d highly recommend staying with her. It’s your own private apartment connected to her house but you don’t hear anything. It feels like your own place!」

「Im Casa Lola fuehlte ich mich vom ersten Moment an zu Hause. Lola, Caridad, Miriamm machten meinen Aufenthalt noch angenehmer. Das Fruehstueck ist eines der Besten, das ich in Kuba hatte. Das Haus und der kleine Garten sind sehr huebsch und gepflegt. Vom Haus ging ich in den Badehosen an den einzigartigen 20km langen Strand von Varadero. Vielen Dank fuer alles!」

「Arrival and check into casa de betty and Jorge was quick and hassle free. The manager Deyanira and her daughter are very nice and friendly willing to help guest whenever possible. Rooms are comfortable , beds clean and neat and bathroom stock is in place. Everything is OK, Except that the bathroom is too small.」

「This guest house stay was absolutely perfect for our time in Varadero. The host and her husband were so warm and welcoming from the moment we checked in. We were presented with fresh juice inside their house. Our actual room was also perfect including a kitchen and patio. It was so clean and had everything we needed. We were also offered breakfast both mornings for a small charge - VERY worth it and delicious! The hosts also helped to arrange our transportation back to Havana for a good price....

「Roberto and Martha are lovely. Breakfasts were a delight (Roberto's pancakes!) And they managed to feed a vegan really well with fruit, tomatoes and bread, no mean feat in Cuba! The rooms are very clean and well maintained, air-conditioning, fridge and a fan. Will definitely be back when we return to varadero. ¡Muchas Gracias por nuestra estancia! 」

You'll have to ask around to find out where to purchase it and where your devices will get reception - Mara doesn't cook breakfast for visitors but there are stalls and restaurants close to the residence that you can purchase food from - The electricity does go out...
