"Ben bring such a great host really makes this property. He checked in on us prior to arrival and throughout our stay with helpful info. He knew we were travelling with kids and left boogie boards out for us to use. He also learned it was our daughter's birthday and gave her a small gift. "If I was to build a vacation home for myself, it would be exactly this. It is comfortable, tastefully decorated, and convenient to local attractions. The parking area is uncovered but inside the locked gate, so very secure; it was a snug fit, but with practice I was able to park my compact SUV with ease. "We enjoyed a great family stay. Comfortable beds and room for all 5 of us. The pool was great. Really appreciated the covered kids pool. Though would have like to see more shade/umbrellas at the pool. Or less people (who seemed to never show up) saving those seats with towels. The swim up bar was a great feature and all who work there were friendly and kind especially to our kids and their seemingly non stop pina coladas. All the food was good. Though disappointing to buffet other than at breakfast. From what we understood this was due to lower occupancy. Although the daily buffet theme was still advertised on the activity’s board. Live music at the 5 o clock somewhere bar was excellent both nights we went. The beach is beautiful and only a few steps across a sandy road to get there. Security guys happily got us chairs when we asked. Location was great with the marina and bit of shopping close by. Felt safe to walk. Definitely would stay again at Margaritaville Playa Flamingo "

"Beautiful property on a hill with spectacular views of the ocean. Large spacious rooms and authentic Costa Rican food. Reliable shuttle to connect to the beach since the hotel is on a hill and walking up/down the hill an be challenging. Really warm ocean waters and hot temperatures with no humidity. Relatively no mosquitoes around this time of the year!"

"Room was great! Infinity pool and restaurant were even better. Amazing view of the ocean. The shuttle service was amazing. It came every hour (sometimes twice hourly) to drop off up to 10 guest down the hill to the town area and/or beach club. The beach club was awesome! Very cleanly and nice access to the beach."
