Great House!

The view is as amazing as the photos! Probably the best VRBO that we’ve stayed in…would love to stay there again! Note: it is a 1-1/2 hr drive to Kona…we didn’t care.

My favorite rental on the Hamakua coast

I have rented many houses on the coast and this one was my favorite because of the layout, appointments and view. We lived on the lanai because the ocean views were so engaging.

Beautiful home with scenic location to unwind

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and well equip home. We enjoyed sitting on its sweeping decks., watching whales from lounge chairs and catching breakfasts on the decks just a short distance from the kitchen. We also found the open floor plan a plus. Ample room for entertaining the whole family. The dining area for the board game players and the family rooms comfy couches for reading, movies or just taking in the oceans views. A definite place we want to share again with our family!

Plethora of pleasures in Paradise

It was amazing to wake up to spectacular Hawaiian sunrises and listen to the birds and ocean winds. The sunsets were beautiful too. Highlights of the trip were Rainbow Falls, trails at the Volcano National Park, and deep sea fishing on “Hooked Up” with the incredible thrill of catching a Blue Marlin (EACH, his & hers) and then to top it off we caught a Wahoo for dinner. What an unforgettable experience!

Wonderful Retreat Overlooking the Pacific.

The property was uniquely located high on a cliff which afforded lovely views of the Ocean from most rooms. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It should be noted that no access to the sea exists from the yard. The home was very comfortable, well maintained and clean. Be prepared for a quirky lighting system and some secret rooms. Overall, a great choice for a Big Island stay. We'd definitely return.

Incredible view!

We enjoyed our experience at Paradise Bluff very much! The view is AMAZING! The master suite and shower are AMAZING! We enjoyed the landscaping and trail around the property- it is very well kept. We barbequed with the deck grill and it also was well kept. We saw rainbows and whales right from the deck. Nice to have the Country Store and cafe just minutes away. We fell asleep to the songs of the tree frogs and woke up to the birds singing. Waterfalls on way to Hilo are breathtaking. Perfect hawaii stay!!!

If I had any complaint, it would be that the air conditioners may not be enough to keep the place nice and cool - especially in the back bedroom where there is no AC unit. Highly recommend this house! Some days we preferred to stay home vs explore the island as our views were superb.

Amazing views and amazing home

First words out of my brides mouth when she got to the top of the stairs was, "Babe, you done good. Oh my God this is amazing." It was the perfect place to spent our week on the Big Island. We love this side of the island and the ability to be so far north and still be within 20 min of Hilo was fantastic. We loved the views and the home. My now wife wants to go back without the kids to enjoy this property all over just the two of us again. Hopefully not during the rainy season as much and for a longer stay if they do a longer term stay rate. It was breathtaking and I wouldn't have traded it for the world. It would be a home I wish I owned or one like it here on the Big Island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures don't do this property justice. It is extremely clean and you cannot beat the views. We were never wanting for anything. There is snorkeling equipment, games, lawn chairs, coolers, really anything you need as well as a well stocked kitchen. The only thing I would mention is that one of the bedrooms doesn't have AC so you do hear the frogs at night, so if you think the noise will bother you bring a white noise machine.

Outstanding Beauty

Aloha! Our family of five enjoyed this paradise every minute of our stay! What a beautiful setting! Nature at its finest. Amazing floral, great sunrises, ocean view with waves crashing and awesome afternoon rainbows. Quite part of the Big Island yet within one half hour to an hour from all spectacular activities and sites! The locals are very friendly and inviting to their community. The members of the lovely small Catholic church were very nice. The house has everything you need. To enhance your stay, the owner has marked everything to make it easy to learn the house and functions. Not often that we vacation at a place where staying at the house rules over other options. Kitchen was well stocked for our meals enjoyed overlooking the bluff and ocean blue! Thanks for providing your house with us! Mahalo

We were already blown away by the views, its beauty, cleanliness and conveniences the first time.. This time, on top of perfection, we were greeted by a stunningly renovated kitchen with top of the line appliances. We chose to cook at home most of the time. How could we not? The beautiful range was so inviting :)This is an amazing home in an amazing location. A small grocery shop/restaurant nearby provided for excellent meals and all necessities. Location is in-between fabulous shopping/farmers market in Hilo and knock out Hapuna beach on the West side. We so didn't want to leave!

Reviewer Comments: The house is charming, clean and well cared for, we didn't encounter any bugs (I mean a couple, but none of the big scary ones), bathrooms clean and functional, the kitchen well outfitted for cooking anything. The view is the most beautiful I have ever encountered, in house, hotel, or AirBnB, and there are plenty of balconies and a gorgeous lanai and a lush and beautiful garden to enjoy it from. Also, the owner does not have a surprise list of onerous chores to do at the end, just reasonable requests. Clear instructions. An easy to navigate one-story set of stairs to enter the house. Each bedroom suite has a big comfortable bed and separate bathroom. Big dining room. Huge laundry room. Everything was perfect.

Excellent stay at Paradise Bluff

We stayed for 5 nights. The house is lovely, clean, very well equipped. There are thoughtful additions like coolers and ice packs, beach towels, aloe for sunburn! The location is quiet and furnished tastefully, beds also v comfortable. We loved driving all over and seeing the island. If you don’t like driving a lot there isn’t much activity in the immediate neighborhood.

Einfach Fantastisch

Unser Aufenthalt war fantastisch, alles war genau so wie beschrieben. Alles notwendige war vorhanden. Unsere Familie hat die ruhige Lage sehr genossen. Wir konnten entspannen und die Ruhe genießen. Von der Buchung weg bis zum Einchecken und wieder Auschecken hat alles reibungslos und problemlos funktioniert. Wir würden sogar noch mehr Sterne geben, wenn möglich.
