The location, it was near the train station, but the road was really really steep, hard with big luggages. Met with 3 different staffs during our stay, 2 were friendly and helpful, but 1 was disappointed.

Pleasant stay in Lausanne
We stayed here on our visit to see the Christmas Markets. This hotel is on a quiet side street and convenient to the train station and main downtown area. We walked from the train station. We were on the third floor and there was an elevator. We had a room with a balcony and beautiful view of the distant mountains and lake.

Très bien pour une nuit
Notre chambre était vraiment vintage, mais propre, bien entretenue et confortable. Le gardien de nuit n'était pas du tout aimable, mais cela a été compensé par le reste du personnel que j'ai rencontré qui était très sympathique et serviable. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Le gros atout de cet hôtel est la localisation à 2 minutes à pied de la gare, mais dans une rue plus que tranquille

The hotel is very close to the train station...albeit up a VERY steep hill (which i did dragging a 50lb suitcase in the rain - not the best first impression of Lausanne). The hotel is pleasant; the staff are very nice. The decor is a little dated - how old were those rugs anyway? - tho i enjoyed the large bathtub after squeezing into tiny showers at the other hotels. I said a little prayer each time i hot into the miniscule &elderly elevator. The bkfast was basic, the coffee was excellent

Hidden gem in Lausanne!
We were thrilled with our stay at Hotel Elite. It is about a 10 minute (uphill) walk from the train station and located on a quiet side street. They kindly stored our luggage until check in and provided us with a city card for Lausanne. It is conveniently located at a roughly 20 minute walk to the beautiful lakefront area of the city. When we arrived in our room we were thrilled to have a lovely balcony where we could enjoy the sunset. We had two comfortable twin beds, a seating area on the balcony, and a spacious room and bathroom. There was not AC (we knew this ahead of time) but there was a fan which kept us cool overnight. The wifi reception was great as well. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Good location close to the train if you have carryon luggage. Cute, quaint and as we were on the 4th floor, had a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Sitting area where one can read is nice to have. Provided a USB adapter so we could charge our phones so that was great also. Larger room than many in Europe!

Short stay in Lausanne
The hotel was ideal for us as it was within easy reach of the railway station. However, to get there it is quite a trudge either up a cobble street or up stairs... but it is not far. The staff were friendly and helpful and the 3 bedded room we had booked was actually a twin room with a separate room for the third bed (our granddaughter). Breakfast which was included was excellent.

Un hotel muy correcto para viajes de varios días por la zona. Con aparcamiento gratuito delante mismo del hotel. La habitación muy espaciosa, el baño perfecto. El único comentario lo podríamos hacer sobre la almohada que no era muy cómoda. La atención del personal excepcional. El desayuno muy variado y completo. También te entregan una targeta para viajar gratuitamente por la ciudad y con descuentos sobre las principales atracciones turísticas.

Muy buen hotel, no nuevo pero en muy buenas condiciones y con buen desayuno. La habitación pequeña pero acogedora. Lausana tiene muchas subidas y bajadas, asi que a pesar de que el hotel está muy cerca de la estación tuvimos que tomar un taxi porque con maletas es dificil subir a la calle del hotel. De regreso solo es bajada por lo que no hubo problema en hacerlo caminando.

A Perfectly Quaint Hotel
A quaint hotel. Close to the train & metro. Quiet inside and outside. We used the courtesy transport pass for metro and buses. The city has hills! The hotel is uphill from the train. Our gps map directed up 60 steps. Better to walk the slightly longer road route both up and down.

We had a nice lake view room with balcony and it was as we expected, clean and airy. We enjoyed bringing back a bite to eat on our balcony and listening to the birds and watching the street below us (not noisy). Close to the train station (steep uphill walk to get to it) but an easy walk back down to the station. The Metro station to take you up and down the hill is nearby and makes it easy to get around. Nice breakfast in the morning and always someone at the front desk. We enjoyed our stay there, we would stay there again, and recommend it for those wishing to stay close to the train station.

This hotel is very close to Lausanne train station. Yet it's in a quite street. The staffs are very friendly. The hotel is well maintained.
