「The cabin is smaller, but offers plenty of space for a couple travelling to the area! It was clean and well-stocked. The views of the forest surrounding the cabin are beautiful, and the stars were amazing on a clear night. Hearing wolves in the distance from the comfort of the cabin was exciting. The sauna was great to use after a day of hiking and exploring downtown Grand Marais. We would definitely stay here again!」

「Beautiful 20-acre Maple Forest. One of the best rustic cabins I have ever stayed in and I have traveled this area for 35+ years. Location unbelievable, good directions and description, enjoyed the sauna, view through large windows in cabin breathtaking. Only change I would make to listing: bring ice or other means to refrigerate food. listing didn't indicate this. No bathroom, outhouse only. I think listing said there is half bath.」

「My husband and I recently stayed at Gaucho Cabin for a night and it was nothing short of magical! Every detail has been thought of and we had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. I spent time reading in the loft net during a brief afternoon rain shower and it was incredibly relaxing. 「A cozy, well designed and built cabin in the distant woods was my retreat last weekend and it was terrific! The cabin is just the right size for one person or two that enjoy each other. There is no electricity, internet, plumbing, or cell service but I had everything I needed, especially peace. The screened in porch was delightful in the evening as dozens of species of birds and frogs filled the woods with song. The propane wood stove was on a thermostat and provided charm as well as warmth....

「We had a great stay on the North Shore. Close to Grand Marais, as well as the Canadian Border, so choose your own adventure. Our boys fished off the lighthouse point in GM, and we did a hike up at Grand Portage on the border. Spent tons of time on the lakefront, and watched the younger kids climb all over everything while collecting more rocks to bring home. The absolute highlight, from a Minneapolis family, was the stargazing! No Northern Lights, but wow! What an amazing view of our corner of...
