“The property was wonderful. There were many extra touches that made it fantastic. The living room was extremely comfortable. (Love the rug, so soft). The kitchen was roomy! The hostess went out of her way for us. The only issue was the map on Vrbo app shows the property in the wrong location. I’m pretty sure that one is on Vrbo. When we googled the address we got to the right place. Only about a mile south. ”

“This house is not your ordinary house! It is a delightful combination of cabin and modern. Our family of 18 adults and 16 children stayed here for five days and we didn’t even use all the space that was available!Inside there are numerous sitting nooks with a huge gathering room upstairs where our whole family could be together at one time and not even fill it!The front yard was a great place to play cornhole which was available and there’s plenty of chairs on the porch for those who enjoy……

“Wowza! What a stay our family of 4 had! This quaint, quiet, cute & cozy historic abode was just our mode! Everything was just as advertised & more! Within walking distance of Lagoon, we'd make our own breakfast, enjoy the cool & quiet mornings...then walk to Lagoon, spend a few hours, then walk back "home" for lunch & a reprieve from the hottest part of the day & then walk back for part 2 @ Lagoon! “My extended Family of 18-adults and 3-children had a great stay at this magnificent home. The location was great for all the outdoor activities that we were interested in. A bonus was the wildlife, a Bull Elk in the velvet, Wild Turkeys and lots of birds. This house included lots of amenities, pool table, basketball, yard games, wonderful Gazebo with swings. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it for any large family gathering, wedding venue, etc. ”

“The property owner went out if her way to help us change our dates due to uncontrollable circumstances with our trip. She was kind and compassionate toward our situation. The property was very well kept, clean, and stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The property owners have put a lot of thought into updating an older property. The only thing I would add would be a pizza pan to cook pizza in the oven but we made it work without that. ”
