Assez satisfaisant

Maison avec beaucoup de charme et de cachet, sanitaires et sols propres, un peu plus aléatoire pour le reste... Certaines choses mériteraient d'être remplacées comme une partie des casseroles en mauvais état, des housses de couette boulochées pas très agréables, le manche de l'aspirateur cassé, un canapé et certains matelas qui ont déjà bien vécu,... La cuisine est sinon plutôt bien équipée, même si un lave vaisselle aurait été le bienvenu ! Les chambres sont assez grandes et claires (2 suites parentales) L'extérieur est très agréable et entretenu, un super barbecue sur une belle terrasse sans vis à vis, mais les tables de repas sont en très mauvais état avec des assises instables. Egalement une odeur désagréable de fioul dans l'une des chambre à chaque fois qu'on ouvre les fenêtres (cuve juste à coté). L'environnement est très calme, le séjour reste agréable dans l'ensemble.

Belle maison spacieuse

C'est une belle maison mais nous avons très froid beaucoup d'humidité problème de chauffage impossible de l'allumer le ménage laisse à désirer. L'équipement de cette maison n'est pas conçu pour 10 personnes la table trop petite et manque de chaises dehors les tables en bois avec les bancs sont vétustes. Cuisine bien équipée mais il manque un lave vaisselles Dans la chambre du bas quand on ouvre les fenêtres, nous avons l'odeur de la cuve à fioul Il manque la WI FI non précisé dans l'annonce L'emplacement est très bien au calme, nous avons passé un agréable séjour

Great property for family and friends

Wonderfully spacious property that easily catered for two families. The house and grounds are well presented with a lot of space for sunbathing, eating and playing outside and easy parking for multiple cars. The inventory was plentiful and everything we needed was found. Comfortable and spacious bedrooms complete with fans for those warmer days. A short drive finds boulangeries, supermarkets and beaches as well as o'Gliss water park which is a great family day out! Would definitely recommend this for a perfect holiday in the Vendee.

Really enjoyed our holiday. There were 10 of us and we all fitted in well with minor adjustments. The kitchen was very well equipped which was important for ten hungry people! The location was good being just 25 minutes from the lovely town of La Tranche sur Mer and the lovely beaches. If you want to go to the nearby Waterpark in high season make sure you book ahead!

Large villa with spacious garden

Positive: - The size of the house and the garden. - Very quiet neighbourhood. You need transport but that's something we chose so we are ok with that. - Pet friendly, something that was very important to us. - Well equipped kitchen (without dishwasher) Negative: - It's a house for 10 people but there isn't a table for 10 people. Also the only table inside the house is for 6 people and we were 7 adults. A bit uncomfortable. - We had to pay an extra cleaning fee but the house was not clean on arrival. In fact I would dare to say that it wasn't cleaned at all. We made a complaint with the owner, we also sent a few pictures as proof. We had to wait 2 days for an answer. The owner promised us a compensation but we never received anything. - No Wifi - No dishwasher

Wunderschönes Haus in sehr ruhiger Lage

Das Haus ist wunderschön und geräumig. Viele Leute haben im Haus und auf dem gesamten Grundstück genug Platz um sich zu beschäftigen und zu entspannen. Es ist zwar gewöhnungsbedürftig, daß es kein WLAN gibt, aber so findet man mehr Ruhe für ein gutes Buch oder ausgibiges Sonnenbaden. Absolut Empfehlenswert!!! Man sollte bedenken, daß Frankreich an sich sehr weitläufig ist und daher einige KM zu fahren sind, wenn man größere Städte besuchen möchte. Aber es ist jedesmal wieder eine Freude in dieses Haus zurück zu kommen.

Pretty perfect!

We had a lovely week (helped by a week of extraordinarily gorgeous weather!) The property was great for our group and the nearby beaches were beautiful. We spent most of our time at La Terriere. One point - property sleeps 10 but there are only 6 dining chairs. We were a party of 8. A few extra chairs to use if needed would be great (perhaps simple folding ones stored in the utility room). Also here is no WiFi available, which I hadn’t picked up when booking. Wasn’t really a problem for us and understand the value of switching off when on holiday but there were times it would have been helpful for us to do local research without eating up data, and for a spot of work for one of our group. Highly recommend this house.

Fantastic house and location

We had a fantastic time here - the house is incredibly comfortable and spacious, well kitted out and clean. This is a great location for groups, especially if you have children, with a lot of outside space and very close to beaches and a whole host of other things to do (Chateau d' Adventure being a big hit, as was O'Gliss water park) The owners were very responsive during the booking and check-in process. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Pas assez de chaises pour huit personnes et la table un peu juste, pas de chaînes de télévision française surprenant en France, nous n'avons pas pu supporter notre équipe de France féminine pendant le mondial ! Manque de la vaisselle, verres et saladiers. Et le plus désagréable forte Odeur fioul! Si non très beau gîte et au calme

Propriété de plain-pied très bien équipée...sans doute un manque d'espaces de rangement si on est quatre dans la chambre dite familiale. Procédure d'arrivée et de départ particulière: aucun contact physique avec quiconque, mais tout est très bien expliqué dans un dossier par mail. Proprio anglais...pas de télé française ou de wi-fi...on se sent un peu loin du monde! Et il faudrait le savoir à l'avance... Grande surface et boulangerie à 4 petits kms. Calme garanti sur place et excellente situation pour explorer les Sables d'Olonne et la côte vendéenne, La Rochelle et l'Île de Ré, le Marais poitevin et le Puy du Fou. Erholung pur!

Sehr schönes geräumiges Haus mit kompletter Ausstattung, zwei tolle Terrassen mit Sitzgelegenheiten und Liegestühlen, Gasgrill, alles sauber und gepflegt. Die Kinder fanden den Garten und die bereit gestellten Spielsachen super. Dazu wirklich nette und hilfsbereite Hausverwalter, Kontakt auf Englisch und Französisch. Schöne Sandstrände, nicht überfüllt. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit dort. Kleine Minuspunkte: kein W-LAN und nächster Supermarkt 8 km entfernt. Zu Bedenken: bei selbst mitgebrachter Bettwäsche an die Übergröße der Bettdecke im Ehebett denken! Vielen Dank an die Eigentümer für das tolle Ferienhaus! très belle demeure mais il manque de chaises pour 10 personnes ? et la table est trop petite pas de télévision française pas de lave vaisselle pour 10 ce ne sont plus des vacances !! un toilette séparé des salles de bain serait appréciable précisez dans votre annonce qu'il faut payer en livres sterling et non en euros je pense que vous devez louer qu'auprès de vos compatriotes anglais le change nous coûte mais nous avons passé une très belle semaine et le choix des matériaux de rénovation est adéquate pour la demeure elle a du charme et du cachet merci pour tout

Lovely big country house, perfect place to relax!!

lovely big house, fully equipped. you sit in the middle of nature. really nice to relax in this country house from your daily busy life, enjoying the fresh morning sun until the evening under the beautiful starry sky on one of the terraces. even for the children there is a nice outdoor playground. fun activities in the area, unfortunately we were just out of season and the waterpark was just closed but we were close to the beach!

Wonderful.

We all had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful. It is quiet and serene. We where actually so busy going to the beach etc that I would have liked to have spent more time at the house enjoying it. The instructions and information was very clear and accurate. We would not hesitate to book this location again.

Beautiful!

What a beautiful place to stay! It has been a privilege to have the chance to treat this place as home for a while. An amazing restoration that looks stunning and spacious but still feels homely and comfortable. The outside space is lovely too and we really appreciated the games and outdoor equipment for the kids. In a great location for the beaches, visiting towns and villages, the Ile de Re, water park, etc. Thank you, we've had a very memorable family holiday and would love to go back sometime.

Lovely barn conversion

We had a great family holiday in this lovely barn conversion. Very nicely presented both inside and out. Great location for a family holiday but a car is essential. Only negative was a hitch on the cleaning before we arrived but was promptly sorted out.
