"The gite is in a great location, a short walk from Doelan, which is a picturesque small port on a small river estuary. The host, Jacques, was very welcoming and friendly. We had some lovely conversations with him. He is a real gentleman. He showed us where the local hidden beaches were located, and advised on coastal walking nearby. Would very much recommend this property. It is great value for money."

"Welcoming hostess even though we arrived early, and cottage had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Little outside shade but large parasol provided. Our hostess was helpful and kindly when one of us had a health problem. Linen and towels provided were all of good quality which makes you feel valued as guests. "Gorgeous property decorated in a nautical theme. Well equipped kitchen. Huge enclosed level garden with lovely seating areas. "The address on site is not correct but only had to wait ten minutes for someone to come. The place was clean and modern with a lovely pool. Everything needed was supplied including lovely welcome local artisan drinks and biscuits. Pebble beach short walk away, drive to sandy beaches. Coastal walk to nearest tabac about 40 minutes. Very scenic. Short drive for lots of restaurants but book in advance. Beautiful part of the world. Lovely holiday."
