Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We were moved to a different property in peshastin but it was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the furnishings and amenities were excellent. Very pet friendly and serene environment. The owner was very communicative. Would definitely stay here again!
The lodge is a wonderful place to stay! Its location is a 10 out of 10! Located right by the river and surrounded by stunning views of rock cliffs and mountains. We definitely hope to return someday!
We spent a lovely 3 days at the Jalonda Lake lodge. Say many birds outside around the property. Great place for a large family or just a couple. Quick trip into Leavenworth. Very quiet spot with beautiful view of the lake and canyon.
Easy check in, clean, well stocked with necessities,a great location. A few things were in need of attention, bottom dishewasher drawer does not roll like it should (falls out), bbq burners need to be replaced (had to light with lighter, only partial flame on all burners) hot tub cover needs replacement. Overall a beautiful place, definitely recommend & would stay again.
The house was confortable & had all the amenities we needed, the views are unbeatable, and the outdoor space was fantastic- we spent all our time outside.
Checkin was seamless, the hot tun was clean and hot upon arrival (big plus after a long day!). Wpyld definitely come back and reccomend!
This was our third stay, second in summer time! We love the location, right on the river, but it’s very slow moving river in this spot. We anchor our huge island out front & have so much fun hanging out in the water & swimming to the huge rock that you can jump off. And it’s right next to the Alps candy store, what a bonus!
Huge house on the river. Lovely views and very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor BBQ area and hot tub. 8 minutes from downtown Leavenworth. We had a very nice time!
This house and location were perfect for a much needed family get-away! The weather was beautiful and we were able to spend many hours out on the water enjoying the beautiful scenery. Wildlife was amazing! We enjoyed watching the bald eagle in the morning and were lucky enough to see the bear walking the water's edge on the opposite side of the house during our stay. The Alps Candy Store proximity made our kids extremely happy as they visited numerous times. The house is beautiful and we can't wait to visit again soon!
We had such an amazing time. No matter how many pictures we took just around the house, it will never do justice to the view. It simply must be seen in person. Everything was perfect and Ann is the most wonderful host. She was so responsive and answered any questions we had. We can hardly wait to come back again.
This home was beautiful. Everything was perfection. The home was very comfortable. We only had 3 adults and a baby, but if you had more people, the two living rooms and the outdoor space makes it perfect for room to spread out. the yard is fenced in, so perfect for our dog. We loved the view. We saw bears, eagles, and even a beaver floating by!! Even though the highway is behind the property, we were away from it enough not to hear or see it. Check out Leavenworth (10 mins away), it is adorable!!!
Paradise next to a candy shop, doesn’t get better than that!
This was our second stay at lake jolanda. First was in winter time with lots of snow & this stay was in summer with lots of sunshine! We had a blow up island that we anchored in the water in front of property! So much fun.
The only draw back was the ice machine was broken & the wifi was tripped off because we plugged in the outside lights. We figured this out the next day. We didn’t have wifi for 12 hrs, but we survived! Lol
Great location and setting but Ring Camera recording hot tub and fire pit area wasn't appreciated
Great location right outside of Leavenworth on Highway 2. House was comfy, warm, clean with a great view. Internet was definitely upgraded and fast enough to watch football and stream shows. Honestly I'd love to go back with family and friends but probably not with the location of the outside Ring camera. It was placed above the hot tub overlooking the hot tub and fire pit/ back yard. I get a ring camera on the door and side of the house to monitor people coming onto the property but to be in the hot tub or fire pit area and seeing the Ring camera on and recording felt pretty invasive. The flood light came on multiple times and you could see the red recording lights at night. I figured others would like to be aware of the placement before booking to determine the level of privacy they prefer.
If not for the camera I'd give it a 5 star rating and come back and stay again.
We make an annual trip to Leavenworth each winter, typically some time after Christmas or New Year's to enjoy the hangover from the holidays before school starts back up again. We usually stay in Plain, but this time we opted to stay a bit closer to the Bavarian wonderland, and we're so glad we did. We had previously passed by Alps Candy without giving it a second glance, and were delighted to find that behind the shop lay one of the most scenic cabin/lodges we'd ever had the pleasure of staying in. Situated right on the river, in the heart of Tumwater Canyon, just a few minutes from Leavenworth, Jolanda Lodge is a gorgeous respite. Despite just being right off highway 2, it is miraculously shielded from any traffic noise, and everyone in our group agreed, it had the most beautiful views of any place we've stayed before. We had a heavy snowfall during our stay, which only heightened the beauty of the surrounding area. The snow was so heavy, it knocked the power out for a few hours, but the lodge's generator kicked in and the cabin's essential services remained working, after only a brief interruption. Our only complaints were vanishingly minor:* The wifi, provided by Starlink, would cut off briefly every so often, but would always come back a few seconds later. * The dishwasher's lower rack was broken and super annoying to pull out. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the summer when we can enjoy the outdoors with warmer temperatures.
I rented this beautifully located cabin just outside of Leavenworth for my S/O Birthday and our friends Anniversary getaway, and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place. The host is very thorough in making your stay very warm, inviting, and fun. The house is HUGE inside. Much bigger than it looks. And the outside is so inviting and peaceful. Inside, the host already had a fire going, warming up the house already, as it was the middle of October when we stayed. Oct. 14-17th, so a bit chilly. And also had the hot tub on already warming up. YES! We spent just about our whole time there outside in the back patio by the firepit and in the hot tub. We had a great view of the Wenatchee River/Lake Jolanda right outside the back of the house with views from anywhere inside the house and back patio. Even though we were right next to HWY 2 and the Alps Candy Store, it was fairly quiet. I sent my family a few pictures of the house and backyard and they loved it as much as we did! We're already talking about possibly renting again in December. Pictures don't do this place justice....you HAVE to see it for yourselves. It is so totally worth it. If it's this beautiful in October, I can just imagine how gorgeous and fun it is in the summer. Thank you so much Ann Love for sharing your beautiful and tranquil home with us....we greatly GREATLY appreciated it. Definitely a 5 star 🌟 place. 😍❤️🥰
