  • Experience a special vacation in this houseboat for 4 persons. This houseboat is located in the marina of Lelystad, Deko Marina. From the upper deck you have a beautiful view over the water and the reeds and can see the Ijsselmeer. The houseboat is suitable for 4 persons and has 2 bedrooms. S1 has a bunk bed and S2 has a double bed.

    Enjoy the Flevoland polder in your houseboat. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, a refrigerator with freezer and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Enjoy the setting sun on the roof terrace.

    Visit the Bataviastad outlet store, where you can spend a day shopping in more than 150 stores. You can also dine at the marina restaurant. From this houseboat in Lelystad you can visit the nature reserve Oostvaardersplassen, the amusement park Walibi and the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk.

Durch die einfache Buchung für Kurzurlaub super. Für einen längeren Urlaub eher weniger empfehlenswert. Das obere Deck konnte auf Grund des Zustands der Möbel leider nicht genutzt werden.

Urlaub mit Startschwierigkeiten

Der Urlaub insgesamt war sehr schön, leider war der Start auf dem Hausboot nicht optimal. Für die Dauer von 12 Tagen war für 2 Personen nur 3 großes und 1 kleines Handtuch vorhanden. Die Bettwäsche war teilweise mit Löchern in Laken und Bettdecke. Das Geschirr/ Besteck war nicht so sauber. Leider ist das Mobiliar auf dem Deck oben und unten sehr in die Jahre gekommen und ziemlich ungepflegt. Und die Biokompostiertoilette ist im Außenbereich des Schiffen sehr geruchsintensiv. Aber traumhaft war die Aussicht und Ruhe in der Ecke der Marina und die Heizung und Heißwasser funktionierten glücklicherweise bei den kühlen, nassen Temperaturen auch. Empfehlenswert wäre ein Wasserkocher und Toaster als Zubehör.

Urlaub auf dem Wasser

Buchen, Kommunikation, Anreisebeschreibung, Parken und Einchecken waren super. Das Hausboot selbst ist eher einfach eingerichtet. Das hätten wir gerne zusätzlich vorgefunden: Toaster, Eierbecher, Sonnenschirm oder Sonnensegel für die Dachterrasse. Da mussten wir stark improvisieren. Das Boot hat Metallwände. Bei Sonne heizt sich das innere stark auf. WLAN ist auf der Terrasse sehr gut zu empfangen. Wegen den Metallwänden ist der Empfang im Wohnbereich so gut wie nicht möglich. Handy an die Glasscheiben halten hat geholfen. Repeater im Wohnbereich wäre gut. Ab 5 Windstärken wäre ein seitlich angebrachter Ruckdämpfer an den Festmachern gut gewesen. Dennoch: Die Lage ist grandios. Die Infrastruktur mit Restaurants, Badestränden, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Schiffe im Hafen und auf dem Weg zur Schleuse haben uns fasziniert. Tolles Kino auf den Terrassen.

Not worth it

Very basic, including the cleaning. We found dust and spider webs in many places. The location seemed nice, but it was too windy to enjoy the outside and the view from the top. The top outside furniture and floor/stairs were covered in bird poop, something which could easily be prevented by outdoor furniture coverings (not present) and a little cleaning before guests arrive. The WiFi is the marina WiFi, which was weak and kept disconnecting; there is no internet in the house boat itself. Also we only found the WiFi connection details randomly by looking through a pile of maps and books. We checked out early because the wind was too much, even when the sun came out. That is why the location is not ideal. We were 2 people & it was almost too small for us & couldn’t imagine there being more people. Nice is that dogs are allowed, but be prepared to find dog hair all over the couch, as we first found it. No vacuum, oven or toaster present, just a small hand broom set. When we checked in, there was no key in the lock box. We had no way of calling the contact because we did not have SIM cards which worked in NL (so prepare yourself to having to call Netherlands phone numbers), & we only got the keys because a marina worker called the cleaning person, who then came, luckily. There was a huge crack on one of the windows which we saw upon checking in. We reported it to the mobile number of the contact we had, after we bought a NL SIM card, but never heard back. Nice sunsets though!

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, aber auf jeden Fall nichts für Leute die Angst vor Spinnen haben. Und auf jeden Fall sollte etwas dagegen getan werden dass Geschirrseife und das Abflusswasser beim Spülen , sowie der Inhalt der Toilette nicht einfach so im Wasser landen. Das ist ja erstens ziemlich unhygienisch und auch nicht sehr ökologisch. Ich weiß es ist eine biologische Kläranlage unter der Toilette aber sie scheint nicht so wirklich zu funktionieren? Bis auf die Spinnweben (auf der Terrasse) war alles sauber. Alles andere war top, genug Geschirr vorhanden und ein toller Ausblick, wir haben immer gut geschlafen. Das Restaurant nebenan ist sehr zu empfehlen.
