「Great little place to stay during our motorcycle trip through the area. Amenities were clean and well stocked. As long as people are aware of what you’re getting and the fact that the bathroom, kitchen is separate etc. it was really cute and super fun. Felt like camping, but without having to lug any of the gear and a much more comfortable place to sleep. Just what we were looking for.」

「The Bear Den was the perfect accommodation for us. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans and appliances. It felt like a second home! Location was a short drive from Nelson but we appreciated the quietness and rural vibe. There was plenty of parking for our two vehicles. We would love to stay here again!」

Very close to rail trail (for those who want “flat” riding) with access to so many other trails not quite so flat. Nelson has a great feel about it. Checkin was very smooth and the owner had great communication and was available for any questions I may have had. 「Wonderful home with everything you need and very comfortable beds. Walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants of Nelson. The parking was tricky for me, it’s on quite a steep hill in an alley and it was quite narrow getting in and out, I’m glad it was summer because I would def be frightened to park there in winter. Overall I highly recommend it!」
