It had a good, strong, hot shower. And a bed. It was strictly functional but exactly what I needed. A shower a bed and 5 hours of sleep.

Great for price

Rooms are very clean. Linens did have some old smoking burns on them. There's a microwave and fridge which is great. Perfect view of the river. AC worked very well as it was over 100° during the stay. Front desk staff is professional but not personable. Plenty of parking

Owner/staff are courteous and were understanding when we decided not to stay. Facility is old but kept as well as can be expected. Problem is that other residents of the building were loud, profane and drinking. Others in evidence were sketchy. Not a place we would recommend. We checked out/left within 5 minutes of arriving

Told me there was no rooms available when I got there after I had called to tell them I was gonna be late I worked night shift n got stuck in snow, no breakfast, towels and linen were dirty, key card didn't work, gave a hard time for customer service. Gave my initial room away, bugs In room, outlets don't work, microwave smells burnt, heater is noisy, water in shower is only hot and shower doesn't pull up entire way so there's not much pressure, no soap, deadbolts don't work n lock on bathroom doesn't work. Didn't feel safe

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU STAY

OLD FACILITY, FLOOR SQUEEKED, BEDS UNCOMFORTABLE, SHOWER EXTREAMLY HARD TO TURN ON..... MANAGER TOLD ME THEY WOULD REPLACE IT WHEN I LEAVE ... I STILL HAD TWO MORE NIGHTS LEFT TO ENDURE.

This wasn't the worst motel I've stayed in, but it was in the running. It is bordered by a working Norfolk Southern freight rail line that operates at night with great crashing and banging as the equipment stops and starts. The facility maintenance is slapdash. The shower valve didn't work. Stuff is screwed to crudely cut wooden battens. There were no facial tissues and the smallest piece of soap I have ever seen. The bed linens and towels seemed clean. I didn't expect much, and that's what I got.

did not like how the room service comes really early like when u just got out the shower and dont have anything on then dont even come back at all that day and didnt like how i had to wait for hrs to check in when i ring the bell i had to call on phone and dont like how they say they have breakfast lucky a restaurant was right next to them

i was supposed to be in a QUIET NON SMOKING ROOM. it was FAR FROM QUIET and also smelled like cigarette smoke. I found burn holes from cigarettes in the pillows and bed linens. I had to buy Febreeze and spray the room to get some of the smell out.

Nasty room!!

The room was NOT cleaned, there was a dirty pair of black underwear by the bed. Very unsanitary! The steps... Horrible, I don't think one time I didn't trip up or down and my company fell down them. Also when I went to check in they asked if a king was ok. NO I paid for two double beds two adults and two children... Other than that the convents of the location was the only decent thing about this hotel. Lucky I can't add a video!!

I checked in very late at night, which wasn't a problem. When I got to my room, I discovered that it had not been cleaned. The sink and shower were pretty disgusting and the floor was not vacuumed. Because of how late it was, I did not have enough energy to bother with the front desk. I jumped on the bed wearing my travel clothes and went right to sleep. In the morning, I told the front desk attendant about my room's condition and requested housekeeping. Because of how dirty the room was when I arrived, I did not trust that the bedding was swapped out after the previous guest. I politely requested to have the bedding changed, but the front desk agent denied my request, saying they only replace bedding every other day. I asked for an exception because of my concerns, but he said no. When I returned to my room that evening, it did not appear that housekeeping had come and they did not come at all during my stay, despite my request. The walls were thin, and I was woken up by my neighbor's early morning shower. Electrical outlets did not charge my phone and camera batteries fully overnight. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the wi-fi was fast. The location is convenient, too.

Their service is poor, after i made a complaint about the tv not working, provided one night service instead of two nights, wardrobe on bedside was dirty, i reported personally at front desk in morning, after coming back from work at 9.pm nothing was done. This is the second time it has happened, my first time it happened the same way.their is poor,don't pay attention to their clients concerns

This place is absolutely disgusting, rooms are not cleaned between guests, smell of smoke and mold, and there was active drug dealing going on in the room next to ours. Several of the rooms were occupied as homes, and there were also loud dogs barking in a few of the rooms. We didn't even bother staying, we sought out alternate lodging. Expedia should reconsider listing this motel as an option for anyone to stay in.

Room was very dirty. It smelled like cigarettes,and it was suppose to be a smoke free room. The lock on the room didn't work properly and it took forever to open. Have stayed he for years every time we went to visit family never again. We reserved for 2 nights but only stayed for one stayed elsewhere the 2nd night. There was also ants and nats by the sink area. Very disappointed by this Will not be back.

The smell of this place is literally unbearable. I don’t mind staying in a not so nice hotel to save a few bucks - but this was literally the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I went to the office to check in - and had to wait for someone to come in to check me in and give me a room key - I wouldn’t have minded waiting except the smell was absolutely horrendous. The room smell was pretty unbearable also - absolutely disgusting. I sprayed every perfume and spray I could find to make it just slightly more tolerable. I put a sweatshirt over the bedding and pillow case because I literally didn’t want to touch it. It was one night so i tried not to complain. And after leaving it was hard to get the smell out of my bag, my clothes. It wasn’t just cigarette smoke smell either - I swear there had to be mold or dead animals - I have no idea. But I do know that i would not recommend this place at all!! Doesn’t look like irs necessarily in a bad area - but this place is literally disgusting. So spend the extra money and stay up the street at the Penn Harris Hotel or Comfort Inn!!
