“If you are planning a trip to pilgrim, this hotel take you one hour walk from the Lisieux train station. Because this hotel is basically at the outskirt of Lisieux. There is no transport in Lisieux town except local tour bus lexibus where you have to get day ticket. From the hotal to church is 45mininutes walk, so you have to well plan, because it means another 45-60 minutes walk back to hotel. Reception ladies speak little English. I am happy in the last day at Lisieux, the reception has……

“Wir waren 5 Tage zu Gast in dem kleinen Turm. Wir hatten uns durch die Bilder schon viel versprochen. Aber unsere Vorstellungen wurden vor Ort noch übertroffen. Der Turm erstreckt sich über drei Etagen. Unten befindet sich eine gut ausgestattette Küche mit modernsten Geräten. Auf der mittleren Etage vefindet sich ein Sofa, auf dem zwei weitere Leute hätten schlafen können. Dort ist auch ein Fernsehr vorhanden. Aber ganz besonders ist der Blick in die obere Etage. “For the price €103, it absolutely wasn't worth it. It is situated in the middle of nowhere. You have to arrange your breakfast yourself for the next morning. The only thing you get in the evening before, is a bag with bread and some marmelade. The fridge is hardly filled and you have to make your thea or coffee yourself. Besides the awfull smell in the sleepingroom it is an accomodation far beyond nowadays standards. We thought we had become in a horror movie of the worst kind.”
