"There were 12 of us in total for our stay, adults and young children. Emeline managed to find 3 cots, highchairs/booster seats and baby baths for us which really helped with our young children. We had a lovely time at the house Frederick and Emeline were very friendly and helpful, they live on site but they are not intrusive. Although our group was split over 2 different houses the outside table was large enough for us all to eat together. The best thing was the pool area which was fantastic...

"We came from all over the world to celebrate Christmas together as a family - 23 people including grand-grand parents and new born babies - in France. We found in the chateau de la Bijoire an amazing castle that felt like home ! Probably because it is a true family house. The spacious bedrooms (all master bedrooms), the amazing living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, the warmth of the place despite being in the middle of winter… they had even installed a Christmas tree ! "We had a great time at this excellent accommodation. Everyone's kids loved the pool and there was space in the house for all 16 of us. The owner is very helpful and friendly. All in all, we really enjoyed our fortnight here."

"We had a great stay in this chalet with a fantastic private pool in an amazing location. The front terrace view of the lake is a real highlight as are the local walks round the lake and beyond. This includes the short walk to the museum, which had free outdoor events for the family while we were there and a good café. With a short walk to a boulangerie, and under an hour to great beaches, the location was perfect. Overall, the chalet really suited us - a couple with an 8 and 10 year old."

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Lieu parfait avec des enfants, un grand espace et plein de jeux disponibles pour eux.Le gite est bien équipé. La piscine n'avait pas encore été mise en service mais cela a été fait pour nous et nous avons pu en profiter un peu même si elle était un peu fraîche.Endroit calme, accueil chaleureux et propriétaires très arrangeants. C'était un plaisir"

The welcome we received from Roland and Bex was great , especially after a long journey.The property was perfect for our dog as well as the garden is nice and secure. Our only gripe was that we couldn't stay longer but we had to go home and back to work !"

"Almost everything about the chateau met our expectations and above. The approach to the building itself is lovely and the accommodation was also wonderful - very original and well thought out. We dined at the brasserie one evening which was lovely. It was low key with mainly sharing boards but we like that. The breakfast was a buffet and a number of the offerings were empty or nearly empty on the first morning as we were shortly before 9am, which was a disappointment but we arrived early on the second morning and everything was available. Breakfast was simple but pleasant. The staff everywhere were very helpful and friendly. "
