Amidst the beautiful countryside, close to amenities in a small hamlet, private parking , private entrance, pretty courtyards & above ground pool available 1st July. 2kms to the Lacs des mas chabin, fishing & wind surfing & a short drive to a leisure lac with beach, swimming, boat, horse riding. Beautiful walking/ cycling tracks. Adventure park & bird hide. Shop,bar/ restaurant in Lesignac. 🍷

  • My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.

A lovely place to get away and relax

We had a very peaceful couple of nights staying here. Annie (the host) was very helpful and friendly and provided lots of little extras for us which were gratefully received. This area is good for biking and we went on a ride round the lakes - quite roads and good tarmac! The property looks like it's been newly refurbished and there's a large comfy bed, it's also extremely quiet.

Très beau gîte

Très beau gîte situé dans un coin de paradis très tranquille, reposant. Accueil très chaleureux . Annie est fort sympathique.
