"This is a great spot to visit the Galway area - particularly if you want to spend time touring Connemara. I’d choose this again over staying in Galway - much more scenic and interesting. Our host made everything easy - even left us some fantastic lemon loaf as a welcome."

"Ik was zo gelukkig om 4 weken in mei in dit fijne huis te mogen doorbrengen en ik heb het geweldig gehad. Het schitterende uitzicht, de heerlijke stilte, de mooie omgeving en het gezellige huis met zijn fijne serre en tuin hebben daar natuurlijk aan bijgedragen. Ik voelde me daarnaast heel welkom, door de aardige mails van de host en de bijzonder aardige buurvrouw die zorgde dat het mij aan niets ontbrak. In de omgeving zijn leuke stadjes te bezoeken, kun je mooie autotochten rijden en zijn er verschillende korte en langere wandelingen te maken. Ik had nog wel een maandje willen blijven!"

"The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. The desert tasted OK but was again a victim of being left under a heat lamp for too long. My colleague had salmon and vegetables. Again overcooked and vegetables soggy and drained of colour, salmon was dry. Breakfast was again a victim of being overcooked and scorched under a heat lamp. Food overall disappointing for a hotel known for its fine cuisine. Location is wonderful."

"This was our favorite stay in Ireland. It was nice to have a cottage to ourselves as a headquarters. The space is charming and we loved having kitchen and laundry available. We were able to do several day trips from there. The hosts were extremely helpful and had great recommendations. We also loved hearing a bit about the property history."

"Wir haben unsere Zeit hier für unsere Hochzeitsgäste und uns gemietet. Deirdre ist eine sehr liebevolle, herzliche und hilfsbereite Person und stand uns rund um die Uhr bei Fragen zur Verfügung. Danke für das Willkommensgeschenk und das Hochzeitsgeschenk. Haben damit überhaupt nicht gerechnet. Danke In 10 Jahren nehmen wir uns vor, nochmal mit der Familie zu Euch zu reisen. Das Haus war sehr schön eingerichtet, groß und mit genügend Badezimmern ausgestattet. Der Aussenbereich super gepflegt und liebevoll, insbesondere für Hochzeitsfotos hergerichtet. Es gab Probleme bei der Sauberkeit und der Ausstattung der Küche, diese wurden angesprochen und Deirdre hat sofort eine Lösung parat gehabt und war sehr bemüht. Alles Liebe und danke für alles. "
