Leuven has an Ibis Budget and the Ibis Centrum. Judging by the Centrum I hate to think what the budget rooms are like. Room was very basic, thin mattress, no coffee/tea facilities, minimal en-suite shower room which was filled by a vast sink leaving little other space. Breakfast was good, and the lobby bar had a good selection of beers.

Spartan room but did the trick for a 2-night business stay. Greater availability of electrical plugs near the bed and not blocking part of the small desk would make things even better. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved having tea/coffee available in the lobby.

There is not enough sound proofing. Doors banging in the corridor all night long prevented a good nights sleep. You can also hear everything happening in the rooms above, below or next to yours. The rooms are tiny!
