You could not ask for more from a guest house. The cooked breakfasts are beautifully cooked prepared with good quality ingredients and very filling. The bedrooms are well decorated, with plenty of tea, coffee and home made shortbread supplied. Julie, the landlady is incredibly friendly, proffessional and hard working. She takes a great deal of pride in her guesthouse and wants you to leave well satisied. A reflection of this guest house is that there are many returning visitors who book a year in advance. I cant recommend this guest house enough. It is a gold mine of a find.

Loved the beautiful and nicely appointed Blue Room 💙 It was comfortable and had a roomy bathroom with a heated towel bar on a timer. Miss Julie straightened up every day and left us clean towels and topped off the supply of homemade Scottish shortbread. Breakfast was amazing; continental plus she'll cook anything else you could want. And, there are homemade jams 😋 The former manse is absolutely charming and homey and Miss Julie and Mr. Richard are completely lovely hosts.
