「It is always a pleasure staying at Lakeside. The lake was lovely and we were able to sneak a campfire in between the rain storms. Make sure to read the notes that Ritchie sends your way as it spells out exactly what you need to bring - trash bags, shampoo, etc. On VRBO, the pet fee was not very clear. It read as 25 per pet not per night, so that was a surprise as we stayed 2 nights. That may be because I booked via mobile, though, and it did not show correctly. I was unable to add a pet to my...

「Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! 「The location is great and we really enjoyed having our two small dogs with us. The place is tiny and it would be uncomfortable sharing the bathroom with anyone other than my spouse. The first floor bedroom has a very comfortable mattress. I slept well, despite being used to a King bed, this is a queen. The one negative was there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. The owners were super nice and very easy to check in and out. 」

「The dishwasher didn’t work, I tried to notify our contact, but I wasn’t able to get ahold of them. There is a laundry facility that shares the driveway, and sometimes their trucks block you in. We did enjoy our stay.」

「Love the fact it was a duplex with two kitchens. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. Need some TLC of minor fixes. We had a great time using this as base camp!」

「The fridge froze everything solid. There was no broom to sweep the dirt out of the cabin. But the location was beautiful. The cabin was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing. We didnt have no wood for the burn pit which the add on line saud it was provided. I would stsy again but i would definitely ask for a broom and then make sure the fridge worked properly. 」

「Our third yearly stay at the cabin. Recommend you try the Pond Mill Farms, Legs Inn, Good Heart General Store, and Trillium Woods Coffee shop. Cabin is always clean and comfortable, especially the evening fires in the stone wall fireplace. 」

「This was one of the best VRBO experiences we've had - great host, outstanding location, comfortable accommodations. Everything we needed was readily available, the furnishings were comfortable, and Mary Lynn is an excellent host. She left us homemade banana bread and allowed us to use her golf cart to be able to see the shoreline at sunset. We would highly recommend this to our friends, and won't stay anywhere else if we return to the area.」

「We had a great time! Location was convenient to both Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. Dog friendly with room to let them play and a great trail to walk. This is an eclectic place with pop culture Easter eggs sprinkled throughout.This was a comfortable place for a quiet weekend. 」
