Calm before the storm?
We had a wonderful stay at this lake house and can’t recommend it enough. The property was incredibly calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We spent most of our days outside, enjoying fishing from the dock, using the kayaks (the kids built up some great arm muscles), and gathering around the fire pit for dinner and s'mores. Our stay was right before Memorial Day weekend.One of the highlights of the trip was renting a boat from a nearby place and spending an unforgettable day out on the water. The host was truly exceptional! She was responsive, thoughtful, and very accommodating. Despite some bad storms in the area, she went above and beyond to make sure we could still check in on our planned day and stayed in touch to ensure we were safe. When she heard more rough weather might be coming, she reached out to check on us and made sure we knew where all the emergency supplies were. But luckily, they weren’t needed. It’s rare to find such a caring and attentive host. This place was the perfect mix of tranquility and adventure, and we would absolutely stay here again.
