“Our host was not on property, but she was always readily avaliable for any questions or needs. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome with a gift basket of snacks, even doggy treats and potty bags. The rental was some what of a tiny home, but beautifully decorated and we were very comfortable, even with our two150lb fur babies.The bed was so comfortable, we got the info off of it and ordered one! It was a short stay, but we really enjoyed everything the rental offered!”

“I stayed three weeks and felt very much at home in Mel's Country Cottage. I was welcomed and was frequently greeted as I came and went, visiting family in the area. I can't think of any detail for comfort or convenience that was not available. The cottage is cozy and tastefully decorated. Since this visit was during the worst of winter weather, I didn't get to enjoy all the extras on the property that would be fun during warm, sunny weather, so I look forward to another stay during warm months. ”

“The house was in the perfect location in Pilot Mountain. Close to numerous eateries and shops. This home is spacious and CLEAN. The fenced in yard was such a relief when traveling with our dogs and they seemed to throughly enjoy it. My dad even said the hot water in the shower was amazing. The kitchen is stocked with basic necessities, even had a crock pot! The parking situation was better than expected.
