We had a lovely stay at Langs. Communication with Trisha was replied to very quickly. The cottage is lovely, beautifully decorated with everything you need for a stay away from home. The welcome hamper was extremely thoughtfully put together with treats for us all. The beds are super comfortable, the house was lovely and cosy (the stairs are quite steep, and there are a few, to be expected I’m sure). Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Trisha for being such a lovely hostess.
Beautiful house Trisha is an amazing host nothing is too much everything in the house we needed and more would defently stay again best place we’ve stayed will be back
Booked for a week away with 5 of us. Lovely, well presented property. Easy communication with host Trisha. A lovely hamper of food and drink on arrival. Books and games a plenty. Highly recommend
A very impressive building, absolutely stunning. It was home to home, nothing was amiss. Very comfortable stay in a beautiful cosy home, very spacious and loved all the little touches. We had a lovely hamper on arrival, fresh towels and lovely smelling linen, thank you Trisha for making our stay most enjoyable and comfortable 😊😊
A wonderful cosy house with all the amenities and beautifully presented. Welcome hamper on arrival was lovely and the Christmas decorations made for a very festive stay.

Beautiful , luxury house every room is unique and so many lovely finishing touches
The welcome hamper was the first thing we found which was a lovely welcome. We loved how every room was different and beautifuly presented. The house felt comfortable and welcoming . Well stocked kitchen for eating in and plenty of places nearby. The only slight issue was not having a secured garden for our dog would not of been nice to be able to sit out and relax without needing to have him on a lead but that said it did not spoil our stay and we would definitely return!

Comfort and charm!
Overly delightful! Trisha answered all our questions, provided comfort above and beyond our expectations. Langs Hall is clean, cozy, well equipped and sits in a great location for traveling the Northwest. We were a party of 4 women, plenty of space and comfort for us. The kitchen is really well sized for all of us in there at the same time! Extra bonus, off street parking around back. We quickly learned the value in that seemingly small matter. The neighbors are very nice and aded to our comfort.

Home away from home
Trisha is the perfect host who is both kind and understanding.
We arrived much later than expected due to problems on the motorway and Trisha was sympathatic and understanding, even though I am sure she had to change her own plans to accomodate us.
The cottage itself looks even more charming in person than in the photographs and much of this comes down to the many personal touches which Trisha puts in the house.
The location is completely as described and there is a big Sainsbury with a patrol station just 3 miles down the road which is really handy. The neighbours are a really kind and friendly family too which adds to the experience.
There are only 2 very slight negatives.
The first is the single-pane windows which lets in noise in the mornings, which is not really her fault since I am sure it is difficult to modernise the windows in a listed building. However, the cottage itself is on a fairly quiet road and the heating works wonderfully well, so this is really not an issue, but it is something I thought will be useful for people to be aware about.
The second is most definitely not her fault - Unfortunately, I think some previous tenants must have used a couple of her towels to mop up some motor grease or similar, because although all the towels are clean, soft and fluffy, a couple of these smelt bad when you actually hold it close to your face as you're using it. This is not easily evident and we only noticed it when we actually used the towels, so I will not blame this on the host. We simply used another towel. Sorry Trisha, I meant to tell you this before we left but I forgot.
Overall though, I will recommend this charming cottage to anyone and this is easily my first choice when I next venture to this beautiful area.
