“Had an enjoyable stay, one of my visits to Four in a Bed venues. It is in a lovely market town close to the battle sight. The parking is at the rear and you may miss it but as you pass between Dixie Arms and Red Lion the car park is immediately on your right; ample parking you just need to register at the bar. It is a locals pub and the staff were friendly. It could do with a freshen up in the bar, there is an Italian restaurant on one side of the venue. The banquette seating needs to be……

“Great location and quiet room . The couple who own the property are both lovely and helpful. The room has all the amenities you could wish for , they have considered what a guest might want or need . You can park off street . The room was a little on the small side but adequate for one or two nights . The continental breakfast is adequate and the fresh coffee as very good . The property was full so the breakfast room was too and we felt a little bit close to other tables .”

“The inside of the room was lovely with new technology for door entry, lighting etc. and we loved the wildlife and farm animals. however the outside of the property was a total mess. It looked like lots of the buildings were falling to bits and the grounds were overgrown and not well kept the restaurant was permanently closed and the shared microwave in the corridor worked but there was no cutlery”
