When we arrived, one of the staff could not trace any of our booking. We had to call your office to get assistance which was a very expensive affair. It took the intervention of another staff to check in their records and trace the emails with our bookings. Some of the friends were even initially made to make a second payment thought same same was refunded.

I booked my stay at Montebelo to enjoy the pool but I was told that the swimming pool was closed last year. It is better to remove the photo of the pool form the webpage otherwise you are selling a product that doesn't reflect the reality. Another issue is with the Airport transfers. The website advertises that they offer transfers while they are not offering. I should receive some money back because I went on leisure and I did not have the opportunity to enjoy the pool as it was closed last year.

To be very honest it was more of a compulsion than a option as no other decent property is available in Lichinga. It is almost impossible to get the water in the room forget about anything else. I need to go to reception to get my water that too they will take cash and no receipts would be given. Rooms are huge and clean.

Ok for a few nights. Very slow Internet

For a few nights it is ok. No Wifi in the rooms only in the lobby and very very slow, was very difficult for me to work (send emails etc.) Long dark floors like in a bunker. Resturant is good but quite expensive. Rooms are quite big.

Nice hotel in the center of city

Girassol Lichinga Hotel provides both safe and comfortabke staying. I liked spacious room which is as twice large as an average one. I also liked the kind services rendered by the staff. Also highly apporeciable, that the public areas are always maintained clean. The location of the hotel in the center makes taking care of all the businesses much easier. As a concludion, I wouldn't hesitate to book for stay in future and to recommend this hotel to others.

Sweat you get when no options

Poor food,internet available but not working ,TV next to useless with very bad reception ,toilet system less said about the better but when no other alternative to the best of my knowledge the standards do not have to be great

Girassol Lichinga First Timer.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel considering the reviews I'd read about it I stuck to cereals and bread for breakfast and toasted sandwiches for supper as could not afford to get sick!! The area is not bad I walked around the town aduring the day and was fine. My only complaint was the two days of showering in cold water and due to my portuguese been zero was not able to explain the problem.
