"Old farmhouse in quiet location with excellent host"

"The place is beautiful and just what we needed after hours of driving. The host were wonderful too. I need to go and stay with them again. "

"Rooms are above a Tabac which closes at 7pm (9pm on a Friday). You get the key for the bar/shop which you go through to access the back stairs to the rooms, taking care not to trigger the alarm behind the counter - it’s very loud!! No other bars/restaurants in the village; nearest “life” is in Combourg although there is a fabulous boulangerie across the square."

"Lovely French country house. Bedrooms were comfortable. Modern bathroom with large shower. Served a very nice breakfast for us in the morning. A town nearby that has a few restaurant options. "

"Le logement ne correspond pas à l’annonce, nous avons dormi sur le canapé situé au milieu de la salle à manger Visiblement, l’Hôte a oublié de modifier l’annonce. Ligne bref c’est inadmissible de vendre une prestation alors que nous dormons sur un canapé clic clac. Lard aimerions être remboursé, et je pense qu’il serait sérieusement d’enquêter sur ce dossier"

She assisted me to find the local amenities and ensured I could navigate the local metro. She also helped me practice my French language! It was a perfect start to my year in Rennes. "
