“The door handle almost fell off from the inside. I managed to get the screws back in so I could lock the room from outside. The fridge freezer was covered in over an inch of ice so I dont think the fridge was as cold as it should.be. the room and bathroom were at least very clean at least.”

“We were so happily surprised to find this adorable property for our stay. The view is fantastic! RIght by the water and nothing but fields all around - we got the most perfect sunset views we could hope for. It really was just a place to sleep as we spent the entire day at PPNP, but we found check-in to be seamless and easy, room was clean, shower had good pressure and hot water, and bed were really comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the Leamington/Wheatley area.”

“The room was very quiet, the mini fridge didn't make a sound just ran efficiently. We arrived after 9:00 p.m. and were warmly greeted and checked in with all the information we needed for our overnight stay. The individual room thermostat very quickly brought the room temperature up to a comfortable 20 degrees for sleeping. Only suggestion for the room might be a clock radio instead of a telephone and a small box of tissue in the bathroom. The price was very reasonable and the beds……

“Our experience at Omstead’s on Erie was amazing, my friend, daughter and I are still talking about it. First off, the home was so well decorated, every carefully selected item has a story and the stories were amazing, all this with a great view of Lake Erie. Margo and Keith are great hosts, they provided us with many great local recommendations for dinner and Margo treated us to locally sourced fancy breakfasts. We will definitely be going back!”

“Lack of any space (closet) to hang clothes. TV didn’t work (no signal). Shower lacked handholds, and so was insecure. Breakfast facilities not adequate—no separate room provided, no tables with chairs. Much attention paid to sports memorabilia, but at expense of basic facilities. I didn’t pay to stay in a sports museum.”

“I have stayed at this property multiple times over the years but it’s time for a refresh. Need new toilets, fixtures and bathroom fans. I see that they have started but our room certainly wasn’t. Service team was great at checkin.”
