Hotel Carlton is an absolute must when visiting Lille. We received such a warm welcome from Frank, whose knowledge of the city and recommendations for local spots made our stay even better. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of history. We loved learning about the famous guests who have stayed over the years, including Paul McCartney. Its bar is also one of the best places in town for a cocktail. We were kindly given a complimentary drink card, and the whiskey sour was excellent. Hotel Carlton feels like a Lille institution. We’d happily stay again.
