The George is the best hotel in Limerick, situated in the middle of the city, staff are excellent and the hotel is always clean and tidy. Food was excellent, we had bar snacks and room service as well as breakfast.

Staff friendly and helpful. Exercise facility around the corner - very nice! Facility at the George all good. Only one quirk - had to insert room card in elevator to get back to reception. Very odd!

Fine enough hotel for exploring Limerick and nearby. Fairly modern, about a block from the river and quite a few from the bus/train. Watch for a banner hanging down from the building with THE GEORGE, then a street sign for their Vincenzo restaurant at a glass and brass entrance. Remember to use your room key to operate the elevator. Bonus: hang the DO NOT DISTURB sign so they don't clean and every day you will get a 5 euro card for Vincenzo's (but each expires after 2 days).

Well located in central Limerick. The parking, although not on site, was easy to find and close by. We appreciated the validation so felt it was good value. The view from the room was great and it was a very comfortable stay.

The room was clean, comfortable and nice. The staff was amazing and very attentive. My one and only complaint, it was very loud outside my window with people partying until very late. Nothing to be done about it, but a heads up might have been nice

Great location. It’s city parking so expect a small block walk to car park. Breakfast okay and not worth the cost. Location also means it’s loud. Saturday night means people yelling laughing on the street until the wee hours. Windows not sound proof. Bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones. Staff friendly and overworked so be nice.

The reception staff were very friendly and efficient - both checkin and checkout went smoothly. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. We appreciates the 5 Euro credit coupon for each day we did not have Housekeeping. We used these to offset costs in the bar/restaurant. We would book again.
