A very comfortable house with all we needed and plenty of room for our dog. .Unfortunately the current algae situation kept us off the beach but the absence of humans, and dogs, seemed to encourage the return of many sea birds. There. is still plenty to do outdoors. We particularly enjoyed the Willunga market and exploring the surrounding countryside.”

“The cutest little cottage that had personality and charm and made us feel like we were on holidays. We really loved being able to light the fire each night and snuggle up on the comfy couches. The backyard was also a gorgeous space with lots of seating options, our one year loved exploring (and eating fresh cherry tomatoes from the veggie patch!) “An amazing place. Everything at Gasworks was of the highest standard and quality. The property and gardens are stunning, with so much room to walk, relax , watch the chickens or the wildlife around the running creek. So relaxing. Provisions for breakfast were generous and appreciated. The history of a bygone era has been maintained. Hosts Heather and Grant are so welcoming and friendly and happy to leave u to yourself or have a chat if u wish. Will definitely be going back, excellent value for……

“Host Georg met us on our arrival at Karawatha Cottages. Our cottage was immaculate inside and out. The decor was bery tasteful and there were lots of little touches that elevated it above the norm. The fridge was filled with milk water, tomatoes, yoghurt, eggs bacon, butter and jam. Fresh bread, granola, fruit, chocolate and a bottle of local wine was also provided. ”
