"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"The apartment was very clean, had all the basic amenities that I could ask for with one exception: heat. The heat in the apartment didn't appear to work or at least not well. I didn't spend a whole lot of time in the apartment but, while I was there, despite the heat being turn up to the maximum, it never warmed any more than 11 C. Had to specifically purchase extra blankets and sleep in a sweater."

"This is an older property but it is very well kept. The walkways were well lit. The breakfast was simple but plentiful. It was great to be able to order breakfast the night before. Our room was very very nice. It was spacious, well laid out. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Best of all, it was very clean. We absolutely recommend the Coastal Inn Antigonish and hope to visit again. "
