“I read a review prior to arriving that stated the word “dinghy” I chose to ignore that as this location is near the airport. Unfortunately the word was very accurate. The resort is likely quite old with spotty craftsmanship. The entire resort has a general odour of septic. It wasn’t very pleasant when spending time at the pool. The staff is trying their best in-spite of the property condition. Ants and bugs in the room were abundant. Which is typical for the Caribbean - however this was a bit……

“The worst experience in my life in an accommodation was spent in this place. First of all, it is a dirty, old-fashioned place, they changed my room on three occasions. The first time there was a tarantula in the bathtub and there was only hot water burning, the second room, the air conditioning or the television was not working, and the third time the matres looked like metal, there was a bad smell. My reservation was 6 days, I could only stay for 1 day, since I was with my son and I did not……

For such a great property I was very surprised at the reception desk which is a small hut at the entrance to the property. There is no concierge desk as such. Carlton in water sports was accommodating and brought smile the face The butler staff was very new to me but made getting to know the property very easy and quick allowing us to get the most out of our 6 day stay”
