They were super accommodating and welcoming to my dog. They also provided a cute half bottle of wine from a local winery. It was storming the first night, but on the next morning, had beautiful view of the ocean from the room.

Very good location and nice staff. However, people shouldn’t go there if they are looking for a clean and updated place. Make sure you bring your laptop with downloaded movies or any type of games for long rainy nights (no cable or good internet connection even with the WiFi). Also, they gave us an squishy and advise us how to clean the windows…. Regards,

Although I wasn't traveling with pets, it was pet friendly. I had trouble with the thermostat and it was a tad cold, also the furnishings were old and worn. Overall, it was clean and convenient to my work location in Mendocino, so it was a good place to stay. A renovation might be a good idea to update the place, but it was a good stay.

My king size bed was super comfortable. I asked the manager for a little fan and got it. Everything worked. Lovely view. It was very clean. I especially enjoyed the cool sea air that breezed through our patio door and opposite window in the late afternoon It was quiet. Easy to park . I recommend this place.

We absolutely loved her stay. I would’ve gave it five stars however there was some mold in the shower and you could definitely smell it. The shower needs a good scrub down, but besides that it was excellent. The bed was comfy! Loved our view. Parking was super easy. I plan on definitely returning.

We stayed here 6 years ago and we loved it. But we did have a dog at the time, and I think that if you have an animal this place is a good stay. But during our stay, I think the prices are a bit steep for how old and not very clean the cottages are. There are not any perks such as breakfast or hot tubs etc. If the beds weren’t as comfortable as they are, this rating would be lower. Our garden cottage reeked of cigarettes and the property asked if we wanted to them freshen up the room but I’ve been around cigarettes in a house and this is in the flooring and furniture. Overall I would probably choose somewhere closer to fort Bragg since you are still 20 mins away from the town.

We rented the Rose cabin. It was a comfortable, old-fashioned cabin that met our needs. A small bottle of Chardonnay was provided which was a nice touch. I liked the wood floor in the cabin. A number of windows were oriented to view West towards the ocean. I would stay there again.

Great little cottage, THE VIEW 😍

This was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay here again. When we walked in it smelled so clean, the beds were comfortable, the communication was great, they left extra garbage bags and bathroom supplies and even a bed, towel and bowls for our dog. The balcony was amazing!! The master bedroom upstairs was also amazing, bright, roomy, and charming. I gave it a 4/5 because there were so many spiders in all the windows and ants. We found spray under the sink and were able to spray the perimeter and wipe/kill all the spiders and ants with Clorox wipes we brought, but I was a little surprised the cleaning staff didn’t clean window sills and corners. Again, this place is amazing…dated like most places in Mendocino but overall well taken care of, clean and the communication, helpfulness of staff and overall experience was great.
