「The bar area was ok on entering our room it was cool and could smell damp ,some staff were helpful others were quite rude especially the older lady on reception when she barged into the dining area to shout at a member of staff In front of a busy breakfast sitting very very unprofessional and embarrassing for the young lady to be spoken to like that .」

「Room 1 is extremely small, but was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. There were too few staff. Service at dinner and the bar was very slow. Dinner wasn't as hot as it should have been. There was too much food on a small plate, I had to hunt under the chicken for my vegetables! Overall, it's quite expensive for food that although was delicious it wasn't hot and not served in a timely manner.」

「Two bulbs were not working so clothes unit and te a are were in the dark.The bathroom rack was red rusty where the towels were placed.Bathroom shelf was chipped all way along the edge.Needs repairs.」

「Nice place above a nice bar. Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks. Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town. Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do. Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast.」

「We regularly stay at this hotel when visiting Huddersfield. It is our favourite hotel in the area . The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room is always beautifully clean. The served hot breakfast is fantastic and freshly cooked as opposed to a buffet style. The hotel has a warm and friendly feel and we highly recommend it.
