****(Saturday to Saturday Rentals)****

Located in the Myrick Estates Golf Community, the highly desirable Southeastern quadrant of Lake Gaston. 4 bedrooms, 2 baths on a gently sloped lot with a stamped concrete walkway to the boathouse and around the side of the house that leads to the front of the house. Open floor plan, a game room, sunporch, deck and a boathouse with 6 ft water depth to tie your boat up. A safe area for kids to play games in the yard, bike rides or take walks through the neighborhood. A tranquil setting with trees in abundance. Plenty of sunshine beaming on the dock at the boathouse and allowing for hours of fun in the sun off the dock or endless water sports played in the water...we have 1 kayak and 2 paddle boards for our renters to use. There's an outside fireplace under a covered porch and an outdoor pizza oven. The Game Room has a 9 ft. pool table, a 22 ft. Shuffleboard table and a card/board game table. The public boat ramp is about 1.5 miles away from the subdivision. Roanoke Rapids and the Town of Littleton are close for shopping, food and gas.

The house is in a good location. Very clean inside. We were disappointed with the boat slip. In the picture it shows that it is a good size, but the owners boat was in the slip. We had to dock on the side with a very narrow dock and the water is very shallow. We felt like the porch where the grill is in bad shape. Very pleased with the game room.

This was our family’s second year here. Multiple generations and plenty for all to enjoy. Kitchen is stocked even more and we had everything we needed. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were again… by far the most comfy we have had in a vacation rental. My sis in law even took a picture of the brand in her room. I even slept on a bottom bunk one night because my daughter fell asleep in my spot. Even the bunk was comfortable! The game room is great. The outside seating area was enjoyed most nights. All of the water toys were used each day. We rented a boat for a couple of days and easily docked it on the side of the boathouse. We absolutely love this property. Thank you Randy and Nichol!

The hosts are quick to respond and keep the house in perfect working order. We have stayed at this property for 3 years in a row! The swimming area is perfect for kids and adults. The dock is deep enough for a surf boat. The shuffle board table and pool table are an added bonus! We will be back again!

Great for all ages!

We had our annual Lake Gaston family vacation and this was our first time at American Crow. We always look for a sloping yard vs stairs to the water. The walkway was perfect and easy for all ages to walk down. There are many seating areas inside and outside so it is easy to spread out and relax. My sister in law and I enjoyed the outdoor fireplace every night after the kids went to bed. The dock is perfectly shady and sunny so you can choose what you prefer. The game room was a hit and kept the big kids entertained. The kitchen was spacious enough that we could have multiple people moving around and not bumping each other. The kids loved the bunk room. The other bedrooms were close together so I was worried at first about noise but that was a non issue. It was very quiet in every room! The bathrooms are nicely updated. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever had in a rental. The kids caught fish after fish every day. They also used all of the water toys each day. This was the first year that they didn’t get bored towards the end of vacation. So much to do here! We had a couple of minor issues that the owners responded to immediately. Nothing that inconvenienced us. I can’t say enough. It was perfect. We are booking again for our vacation next year. Thank you Crow family!

Mostly great with a few not so great things

We've rented at LKG for 15 years as boat owners who vacation with friends so I'll review based on that. Pros: best stocked kitchen (and labeled!) that I've ever seen. Most comfortable beds we've ever stayed in. Fun bunk room for the kids. Great game room. Great water depth at the dock where you can swim not far away and not touch the bottom. Kids could safely swim around without risk of wakes and our boat was safe tied up to the side of the dock. Owners share kayak, canoe, paddle boards and life jackets. Nicely stocked house with basics like laundry soap, paper towels, etc. Nice owners. Cons: 1st-The bathroom situation was really hard for our group of 11. There is a hall bathroom and then a second bathroom attached to the master so if the people in the master are resting or go to bed, no one can use that bathroom which limits 9+ people to using 1 bathroom for showers and toilets. This was a big challenge especially at night. 2nd- you can't see the dock from the house. This makes keeping an eye on the dock from the house impossible. Not a deal breaker but the owners could clear some bushes to help people at the house know what's going on better.3rd- the house could use more seating in the den for everyone hanging out. 4th, there is a STRONG smell that comes from the fire place. If you are sensitive to smoke smell, this might be an issue for you. Lastly, the outside of the house could use some help. It looks rough from the front and back. Hope this helps!

Another Great Stay

This was our second time staying at Randy and Nichol’s house. We had a wonderful time. The house is very well furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. We love the location, a private cove so close to the main lake. We rented a boat and enjoyed tubing and skiing. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board and canoe provided with the house as well as a variety of life vests. We enjoyed pool and shuffleboard. The family is already talking about going again next summer!

Quiet retreat 10/10

10/10!!! Our crew had an amazing week staying at American Crow. The house is much bigger than pictures appear. We had a family of 10 vacation with ages ranging from 1-75 and everyone had plenty of space to hang out and have fun. We had family game nights after cooking every night in the fully stocked kitchen. The one night we didn’t cook, pizza from Casa Mia’s in Littleton was amazing. The town of Littleton is charming and they do a small concert Thursday nights I believe. The kids had fun fishing, kayaking and jet skiing. The neighbors very were nice and tolerated our noisiness during water gun fights. Absolutely love how quiet the cove is and NO BUGS!! Wish the golf course next door was open to the public but the boys still had fun at whatever nearest course there was. Hosts are very nice and quick to respond. House is super clean and very cute! Pro tip: The bunk room with the twin beds was the favorite bedroom since it had its own AC. Will be back next year!!!

A new favorite!

Our family fell in love with this property right away! I had trouble booking, but the owners were available & totally tolerant. The home is tucked into a golf cart community, but the privacy in amazing. The property has a useful backyard with an inviting view of the lake. The layout was well planned with enough spaces for all parties to gather together or to have some private time. Our family gathered each evening in the lower level for games, pool, poker, and shuffle board. Oh what fun we had!!! The living area was beautiful, inviting, open, and clean!!! Here, too, there was enough room for everyone to gather. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. Our crew cooked most meals and enjoyed the appliances & outdoor grill. A backup propane tank was available when we needed. We were able to refill the tank on our next grocery run. The bedrooms were amazing with soft, relaxing decor. The beds were comfy, and the temperature in the home was easily maintained during our nearly 100 degree days. Even the bathrooms were clean & nicely decorated. The water temperature for bathing tolerated our entire crew. It was way too hot to utilize the enclosed porch during our stay, but we talked about how nice that space could be during the autumn. The deck/dock welcomed us with a small refrigerator, kayak, and SUP, life vests with many size options, and even some floats!! We brought our jet skis and golf cart, so we enjoyed just every second of vacation! Book it!

Quiet Oasis

The property was clean and well appointed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The open concept living was wonderful for our group hanging out together, cooking and chatting. Although we were a small group, the bunk rooms provided many sleeping options. The backyard and the dock were great secondary spaces for fishing and paddle boarding. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room too - had some epic pool games and shuffleboard!

Fantastic location & house

We loved the lake house, it was fully stocked, beautifully decorated, comfortable and fun! It included a canoe, kayak & SUPs, a pool table & shuffle board plus an outdoor fireplace & pizza oven. Our family had an awesome time and plan on coming back next year. The host were very accommodating and responded immediately with any questions. The views from the house were beautiful too!

Restful vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The inside of the house was pretty and inviting. We cooked about all our meals. The kitchen layout had the stove facing the outdoors and the lake view was so peaceful. Made cooking and cleaning up enjoyable. We all had had a very busy and stressful couple of weeks prior to our arriving. The layout of the home and the views from the house as well as the back yard and access to the boat dock was perfect for us. We all felt relaxed and rested by the end of the week. Prior to our checking in and during the week we had a couple of questions. The owners response time and information was exceptional. We all agreed we will rent this home again!

Great property...highly recommend!!

VERY clean and well decorated home - you wouldn't know it's a rental property once you step in the door!! Game room downstairs (pool table, shuffleboard, card table, huge TV, etc.) was great for a couple of days that the weather didn't cooperate. Only recommendation - and a small one at that - would be to add a bathroom downstairs (which may well be underway as one of the rooms was locked with an "under construction" sign on the door). Overall, great communication from the owners and I would highly recommend. Thank you!!

Loved Being On Lake Time

Our family had a wonderful time at American Crow. The house was wonderful, very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were spacious and many rooms had great views of the lake. We enjoyed shuffleboard, pool and fishing. We rented a boat so we were able to ski, tube and explore the lake. The owners responded promptly when I had questions. We loved our time at American Crow and would love to return!

Great stay on the lake

We made great memories in this house on the lake. Really enjoyed the well laid out kitchen, game room and covered outdoor fireplace. Cool bonus to be able to sit under cover outside, fireside while it rained. The location on the cove is great for swimming, and the boat launch is 5 min down the road. Don't let the less than impressive front facade of the house fool you. The stuff that matters is inside and out back!

Great family getaway

We had a great time with our extended family of 9 in total. This house had something for everyone from the fun games in the basement area, to the well-appointed kitchen, to the comfortable bedrooms, to the great dock and kayaks. We love the location, and the neighbors were incredibly nice and welcoming. Our only negative were the ants that visited the kitchen area toward the end of the week, but the owners were very helpful and responsive and had everything we needed to get it resolved. We had a great time and hope to be back!

Peaceful Getaway

We had an amazing week with family and friends at the American Crow! The owners were fantastic about communicating and fulfilling any requests (even provided a griddle when asked if they had one!). The location to restaurants grocery stores, and great fishing spots was perfect! The home is even better than the pictures, very cozy with a great dock to hang out on and fish. The fireplace and pizza oven were loved by everyone! Thank you for a fantastic week!

Amazing place at Lake Gaston

My family stayed at American Crow for Thanksgiving week. Great home, a great neighborhood, and great owners with awesome communication. We really enjoyed our week and enjoyed the game room, time at the fireplace, walks in the neighborhood, and time together. We had some nice warm days and cool nights by the fire. The house has a great open floor plan and an awesome kitchen to cook in. The kids enjoyed their time in a secluded room off the main room. The home was quiet and peaceful. 5 stars, highly recommend.

Another fabulous vacation

Love this house! Nice quiet cove, close to Littleton. House is immaculate! Great outdoor fireplace, nice boat dock to watch sunset! Owners easy to communicate with! Looking forward to next year!
