Friendly hotel

Very nice friendly hotel. All the staff were really helpful and the well decorated bedroom had a comfy bed and pillows. Nice clean bathroom and the breakfast was first rate, so would definitely stay at the Royal again.

Beautiful people, great service, always smiling and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, many options & happy to make changes. Accommodation was great and whilst a little way out of the city it was easy to get around. Plenty of choices in and around the hotel. Staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. Helped out very well with a check in issue. Particularly the helpful lady in the breakfast restaurant, very helpful and informative. Only thing missing a fridge in the room which seems to be the norm in UK

Treated like a King at the Royal

The location of this hotel is absolutely amazing. The Crosby beach is only a 10 minute walk and the main street of Waterloo is just 5 minutes away with bars and restaurants a plenty. The Royal Hotel is a lovely place to stay with a restaurant on site. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The rooms are clean and have enough space. You have tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a fan to cool you down on hot days as there is no aircon. Rooms are set on 2 floors but there is no lift so maybe not a place to stay if you are disabled. We had a meal on our first night and the food was delightful and cooked to perfection. The price of the meal was affordable and the service by the waitress was excellent. They have a bar there that can seat plenty of customers and once again the bar staff are very helpful and cheerful. I will definitely be staying here again in the future and would advise anyone heading to this area to do the same. Thank you to all the staff at the Royal it was a pleasure to stay at your lovely hotel.
