「Convenient, clean, reasonably priced」

「The motel itself was great. The train that goes by at different times, which includes the middle of the night was my only issue and I can't fault the Carlsbad Inn for that. I would stay again if the need arises.」

「They have many first floor rooms and a resturant inside the main area.」

「There was a committee of kitties to greet me, which was fabulous. The property cute. The a/c unit makes quite a noise, but I’m sure when I fall to sleep it won’t wake me. There were only two tissues in the box, which meant I had to go to my car after I got changed for bed to get a box out of my car. The fridge needs to open from the other side. And the shower could use some Bartender’s Friend for the hard water stains. The bed seems comfortable. 」

「Our stay was wonderful. The only issue was there was a family that let their children run up and down the hallways late at night but this is not the hotel’s fault. Enjoy our stay!」

「GPS directed you through a neighborhood to get to the property- the other exit was very rough and not ideal- I suppose construction but it was very inconvenient 」

「To visit the caverns, we have to choose a hotel in Carlsbad. There was not much options out there. Everything was OK here, with an unfair price though. However I would assume there hardly is a better option around this area.」

「Nice rooms, friendly staff. Limited breakfast. Carlsbad is a boom town right now with oil and gas trucks and work pick-ups clogging the streets and workers filling the hotels so don’t expect anything else!」

「The general manager and desk staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The room is outdated but very clean. I would stay there again. 」

「The staff was extermely friendly and helpful. They fixed the onlh issue i had in a matter of minutes, just with a faulty tv remote. The pool tables, gym, and cafeteria were unexpected amenities. And for dinner they offered a half rack of ribs, mashed potatoes, broccoli, full size salad, and desert all for $20. Highly recommend.」

「Nice place to stay while visiting grandparents. Overall, very nice and quiet. Sleeps 2 comfortably; 4 was a bit tight.」
