“We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean, close to everything and the amenities were good. I am giving 4 stars though because I got into the hot tub and it was clear it had not been cleaed in a while. If I stayed more than one night I would have gotten in touch with the manager. Everything else was good!”

“Our stay was excellent. The house was immaculate upon arrival, check-in was simple, and the kitchen had salt, pepper, oil, and two bottles of wine. Instructions are provided to guide you through usage of the hot pool and radiant floor heating. We were in house 2, which had a fire pit as well. For those who want to grill, we noticed a propane grill in the utility room on our last day. This was an exceptional stay with a great view and very responsive host. If we can come back, we will.”

“There is a hidden cleaning fee (Expedia stated 5000 ISK but there is a sheet in person that corresponds to 100 euros or 14000 ISK) that they will charge if you don't dust the furniture, mop the floors, and strip the beds, which I thought was completely unrealistic to expect from guests. Communication with the host cut off once we had checked in. My friend had bed bug bites that were never addressed. “We loved our stay! We have been in a camper van leading up to this stay and it was the perfect retreat we needed. Very clean upon arrival and it had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect with a great view.”

“Do not stay in these apartments. This review is for Apartment No 6 1) The hot water smelt of rotten eggs, which on investigation is linked to bacteria in the water tank. We had to resort to boiling the kettle to use hot water. We contacted the property 18th Feb to raise our concerns and did not get a reply. I raised a complaint with Expedia on our return and the property have refused to take any accountability for the problem. Expedia were very good dealing with the complaint though 2) The……

“Nice location within 5-10 minutes walking to Akureyri downtown. Ample street parking. The building exterior needs painting. The unit is updated with flooring, bathroom, and kitchens. However, it is a basement unit and the entrance to the unit is undesirable. You have to through a short side door and walking down into the basement.”
