Cozy Cub lives up to its name. Cozy and small it still has all the amenities you are needing. Full size kitchen where you can cook your own meals so you never have to leave. The bedroom area offers a beautiful, real log, queen size bed. The real wood fireplace is a real hot spot. A hot tub, gas grill, and seating area are arranged on the spacious back deck. The outdoor firepit area is perfect for relaxing under the stars.

It was a really little cabin for me and wife to stay in for the weekend. I saw a lot of the reviews about the slimey feel of the water. As far as the shower, I would say it is probably a water softener. I almost prefer that over the dry feeling you get in hotels. Overall it was great.

The cabin was beautiful! Very private. May need a bigger sign so you know where to turn because my husband thought we were on someone private property. We arrived at night and its very dark and you take a very long lane up a mountain but.....once found AMAZING!

I truly don’t know what to say other than, WOW what a beautiful experience. Me & My fiancee took our first trip down to Hocking Hills this past weekend and had the lovely opportunity of renting out this beautiful cabin. I truly can’t speak highly enough of this property and the location as we were looking for something in the middle of the woods with the sounds of only nature and this hit it right on the spot. Not only did they have some pretty views but also the Hot Tub was an absolute must for this trip, Being able to relax after a day of hiking and watching the sunset over the rolling hills was truly something special. I want to thank Sarah for being an awesome person to work with as she answered all my questions quickly and would respond to any message sent at anytime of the day leading up to the trip. 10/10 and Most definitely will be back for any of our future trips to Hocking Hills!

Very nice cabin, very steep driveway but had no problem getting in and out. Would be great to have some trees cleaned up and removed for a better view off the deck. Had to replace the batteries in the tv remote and clock. We enjoy being secluded from the other cabins, would definitely rent the cabin again.

We stayed for 3 nights and had zero issues. Cabin was very clean and has everything that you would need. The area has lots of hiking, but we came for a quiet and relaxing weekend. Hot tub was very nice and also beneficial having a grill. This place was everything we needed it to be.

Beautiful Setting, but Cleaning Standards Need AttentionThe cabin itself is in a beautiful spot—I enjoyed watching deer off the deck and some gorgeous sunsets through the trees (see photos). It has a lot of potential to be a relaxing getaway.That said, the cleanliness on arrival was disappointing. There were crumbs on the dining table, dust and dead bugs around the bedside lamp, ashes left on the fireplace hearth, beard shavings on the bathroom vanity, and toenail clippings on the floor. I even left a note with my email address for the owners but never heard back, which was disappointing. (Photo attached shows one example.)A couple of practical notes for future renters:The drive up to the cabin is a little over half mile gravel and the decent to the cabin is quite steep—just something to be aware of. Also a really deep pot hole to your left just before turning into the cabin drive. Wasn't going more than 5 mph and my tire dropped hard.The water has a noticeable difference in feel compared to other areas, which might take getting used to.The cleaning checklist says 3 bundles of firewood are provided, but the cabin rules say wood must be purchased at the shed at the top of the hill. It would be helpful for the owners to update this for clarity.Overall, the location is beautiful, but improved attention to cleaning and communication would make this cabin a much better experience.

Our 19th Anniversary

This was our first time renting a cabin in Hocking Hills we enjoyed our stay. It was very rustic and loved the privacy. Love how we got to see cows and donkey on the way to our cabin. It was a different experience. Everything was what we needed for our getaway weekend. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing us your place.

Avoid - I truly believe that the prior reviews were fake or altered. There is no way this place deserves a 9/10. It honestly felt like a neglected old hunting cabin. Left after 1 night. Communication from owner was fine however never bothered to ask the reason when I told her we were leaving. Signage to cabin at end of driveway was fallen and grown over, dirty mop and broom on the front porch was our welcome. Large area of Standing water (bugs) next to the firepit, cabin needs a good cleaning - blinds and overhead items are filthy, it is damp and musty smelling. Grill needs cleaned. Hot tub smelled awful. The view was non existent as this place is deep in the woods, love seat had a huge rip in it and was stained. Only a few towels in disarray in the shelf, moldy shower curtain and mat. Location was to be expected but you have to drive 1/2 hour everywhere to see anything or eat etc. door did not lock “automatically” as stated the 2x we left the cabin. We had Internet but the “smart tv” would not connect. The “dvd” collection was minimal.High expectations and excitement resulted in an Overall hugely disappointing time and a waste of money. Ended up leaving and going to Cleveland.
