「We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!」

「We spent two lovely weeks at the Brownstown Lodge. The house is spacious and comfortable. It was a good base for our exploration of western Ireland. Thomas responded immediately to our texts. Jim and Mary were wonderful hosts. There was cake and a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for us upon arrival. Midway through our stay, Mary brought us a delicious homemade rhubarb crisp! 「Beautiful house, very well equipped in a lovely, quiet spot convenient for Claremorris and the airport. Small herd of alpacas in the field beside the house are a delight. John and Sarah were happy to help with anything we needed and were very kind and accommodating when a storm disrupted our travel plans. Would highly recommend.」

「Kathleen was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. While there was an initial concern about birds in adjacent, tall trees, it turned out to be a peaceful, quiet setting and very comfortable. We used it as a base for exploring Galway and surroundings, including the Kylemore Abbey.」

「I was initially rather intimidated by the antique perfection as shown on the website photos and wondered if my rambunctious family would leave it intact but very pleasantly surprised to find the house well worn and quirky . It reminded me of staying in a friends home - there was nothing to remind us that it was a rental -family possessions and photos - books and objects all trustingly left around which gave the house a warm and very haopy feel. 「Tremendous country location steeped in history. Peaceful and quiet with lots of outside things to do. Finola was a very gracious host, who provided a wealth of recommendations for things to do and see in the area. 「Our stay in the renovated coach house of a large Georgian estate was entirely happy. The coach house faces a large, car-free courtyard with attractive plantings. From our living/sitting room the view from the window was a grassy lawn and an old stone wall--we could imagine ourselves lords of the manor. The interior is comfortable with a modern kitchen. 「We stayed on a beautiful estate surrounded by horses grazing on the land and their very own donkey, Jack Derby. If you call to Jack, he will come to the fence. He lets you pet him, and he expects carrots in return. John and Finola are gracious hosts, and it was nice to greet them every day. There have a beautiful garden that they lovingly care for, and many of the flowers bloomed during our 11-night stay. We enjoyed taking daily walks on the property, some of which were around 9 PM.
