Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at our VRBO. The property was exactly as described. We were allowed to drop off our luggage early so we could start exploring London immediately. The location was a little further from London than I had hoped but transportation was easy and convenient. We had a group of 13 people and it worked out well for us.

Perfect for young people & good connection to the city

Nice apartment on a busy street, there are traffic noises 24h on the living room and 1 bedroom side. Bus stop to the tube is close to the house and post office for bus tickets across the street. We used Uber to get to the city (appro. £28) as public transportation is really expensive. Nice host.

Good living space but poor bedding hygiene

The living room and kitchen were good spaces as seen on the website. Doreen was alway easily contactable and responsive to our request to turn on the heating as one of our party has a medical condition and was cold. The bedrooms appeared satisfactory but it was obvious that although all the pillow cases had been changed at least 3 beds had not got clean sheets on. One in particular had numerous small hairs on. When I contacted Doreen about this she was defensive and confrontational. She was unable to come and inspect the beds so we photographed them. There were plenty of clean ironed sheets and pillow cases so we were able to change all the beds we have used. However stripping the sheets off revealed one very unpleasantly stained mattress cover, multiple stained pillows and scruffy blankets Finally there were multiple extension sockets housing multiple plugs plus some sockets which were taped over. We were therefore all concerned regarding the safety of the electrical connections. I am unsure whether there were any smoke alarms in the property but this is a concern as it sleeps 13 and has a narrow staircase leading to the top bedroom None of us would recommend this property.

We stayed at the apartment for our son's wedding in the area. It was ideal for what we needed and so good to be all together ( rather than being in a hotel in separate rooms). Highly recommend.

Everything is what it needs to be!!

Lenny and Doreen were lovely hosts, the property is so big and a lot of fun. Very clean, big enough to hold 13 people comfortably. We weren’t able to find people at times! Don’t delay in booking for celebrations. I was celebrating my birthday ☺️

I highly recommend booking this property it was just as advertised online. The hosts Were really welcoming and accommodating. The games room was the best and the music in the shower room! I had a lovely time here would definitely book again!

Great for a group getaway

I celebrated my 40th here and had friends on Friday to Saturday and family on Saturday to Sunday and enjoyed a great long weekend break away from home. It was a brilliant 3 nights and more importantly all of my guests very much enjoyed the apartment and the time we had together.

Hidden Gem!

At first reading the description of this apartment I thought this place was too good to be true. However on arrival I must say it exceeded beyond all of our expectations! What an amazing place! Doreen was there to welcome us and we were delighted to find fruit, cereal, bread, milk etc already provided for us which we thought was a very kind gesture especially after our long drive from the Midlands. The apartment is equipped with all the party essentials, I celebrated my 21st birthday here with a big group of friends and it was the best decision I had made! In particular, we loved the pool room so much that through out the course of our stay it was never empty and my friends were always fighting over who's going to use the massage chair next! Haha! Loved it! Thank you Doreen for a fantastic weekend in London!
