My wife and I travel extensively and have used VRBO for previous trips - some have lived up to the hype and photos; most have not. Some hosts have been okay; some have been awful.With this VRBO listing we were thrilled by the incredible experience we had with our Host Karen and her beautiful flat in London's Westminster area. From our first interaction with her many months prior, to our last goodbye as we headed home, to a sweet note she sent us hoping we made it home safe and sound, we always felt like we were chatting with a dear friend whose goal was to make sure our stay "with her" was comfortable, enjoyable and hassle free. Karen was quick to respond to any question and provided great information about the surrounding area so we could plan ahead for restaurants, food markets, transportation, etc.The location of the flat is perfect for accessing all areas by foot or the underground, it's also surrounded by great pubs, coffee shops, a market and a short walk to the Thames. The flat itself is a wonderful quiet oasis of comfort when you escape the hustle of the city streets. It's exactly as promoted - your relaxing and safe home away from home. An added benefit we enjoyed is Karen offers a professional driver - Mark Stanley - who provides airport pick ups/drop offs, with the flat check in keys in hand, for a great rate (equal to or less than private drivers or taxis). This is a MUST BOOK flat for your trip to London. It will be for us when we go back!
