As frequent vrbo customers, our experiences generally meet or exceed expectations. Not so here.
Our positive rating reflects the convenient location, but the apartment itself was disappointing. This is a converted attic, not a penthouse. The description promises a lift, but it doesn't make clear that after you open the apartment door you are confronted with a steep staircase up to the apartment--not easy for seniors with luggage.
The flat itself is bare bones, utilitarian. 1 wineglass, no corkscrew. No hand towels or facecloths. American Queen, not King bed as advertised.
If you are looking for an inexpensive option close to the Underground for a family, this could work. But for a couple looking for an upscale experience, this disappoints.
