Good value central hotel
For the price this is a good value centrally located bed for the night. Don't expect any luxury - the shower is small, and antiquated and breakfast is a wrapped croissant and a carton of juice. It is ideal for a one night stay if you are arriving late. For the £s it is still good value - you will struggle to find any other hotel for the price

Aamiainen sisälsi huoneeseen tuodut : vedenkeitin, kupit, neskahvi/tee, banaani, suolapähkinöitä, siemenpatukka ja suklaacroisant. Jääkaapissa taisi olla mehuakin. Pieni avo WC suihkuineen. Sinulle jos et kaipaa luksusta ja arvostat sijaintia ja rauhallisuutta. Ystävällinen omistajapariskunta.

No heating at night
The heater was timed to be switched off from 11:30pm to 6:30am which was the coldest time of the day. Difficult to sleep in such coldness. The window is not double glazed. You can hear people talking from the street.

El hotel en sí no está mal si vas con la intencion de solo dormir q fue mi caso... Un desayuno muy justo pero que se agradece. Habitacion pequeña pero para el precio y la zona, poco mas de puede pedir. En general, bastante bien para el precio y la ubicacion. La atencion tambien muy bien, nos dio referencias y nos permitieron dejar las maletas hasta medio dia ya que nuestro vuelo de regreso era por la tarde

Basic facilities at a budget price in the heart of London than this is a good Hotel. The hotel is in a quiet street for London. Remember it is cash on arrival. Fortunately the lady rang the day before to confirm arrival time & reminded me. The welcome was good & the lady helped me carry my luggage up to the first floor. It’s an old building with v high ceilings. This meant the narrow staircase is VERY steep. She explained everything you needed to know. The shower room is fine. It had everything you needed, inc shampoo, soap if you have forgotten your own. But it is a wetroom & the spray from the shower will wet the toilet seat. Just dry it off & wear shoes after a shower. The bed was very comfortable. I went late Autumn & the heating is set centrally to come on am & pm. You cannot adjust it in your room. You can open a window slightly if needed. Over the 2 nights I stayed, I opened for a short time once. The continental breakfast is packaged croissants, small fruit juices, tea & coffee. Which was fine, just know this is what is included. Many slightly dearer hotels didn’t include any breakfast. Would I stay again–if only had a small case–yes. Heavy case-possibly not. I was a tad concerned about bringing it back down the steep staircase. My solution- unpack my items into 3 large carrier bags carry those down separately then the case & repack at the bottom of the stairs. That worked fine, just different. I am close to retirement age. If younger the stairs wouldn’t be a concern.

L'établissement est bien situé, près d'oxford circus et donc de Piccadilly / trafalgar square. La chambre était petite et la douche pas très pratique mais ça convient quand on est toute la journée dehors. Il y a une Bouilloire et un frigo. Le gérant était sympathique.

Fine for the price
It was fine for the price. Although quoting a breakfast included is not strictly true. Snacks in plastic bags is not a breakfast. However, a comfortable bed for the price was fine.

Mauvaise expérience !
Impossible de pénétrer dans l'hôtel avant 14 H. J'ai attendu près de 2 heures devant la porte avant qu'on ne m'ouvre. Un gérant parlant italien, mais peu l'anglais et pas le français. La chambre, au 1er étage, au terme d'un escalier en pente terriblement raide. Refus pour que je règle en carte bancaire ! Je vais donc au distributeur le plus proche, sur les conseils du "monsieur". A mon retour, et avant de payer, je veux m'assurer d'une connexion wifi. Il m'emmène au 2ème étage, dans une pièce fourre-tout (linge de lit sale, linge de lit propre, produits d'entretien, prises de courant guère rassurantes...) et tente une connexion en bidouillant des fils et tentant divers branchements. Mais rien ! C'en est un peu trop pour moi et je m'enfuis !

Du får vad du betalar för och detta är definitivt ett budgetboende, dock ett bättre budgetboende. Helhetsintrycket är ett OK. För ett par dagar och med rätt förväntningar är det definitivt överkomligt. På plussidan: Läget - Mysigt kvarter med flera pubar och resturanger och 5 min gångavstånd till Oxford Circus. Värden - Rosie, som har hand om hotellet, är jättetrevlig och gör sitt bästa för att man ska känna sig välkommen. Renlighet - Rent och fräscht med daglig städning. Dock heltäckningsmatta, som på många ställen i England, som drar ner renlighetsbetyget något då denna inte kändes helt fräsch. På minussidan - Badrummet - Superlitet badrum som saknar riktig dörr vilket inte känns så charmigt. Toaletten spolar väldigt dåligt. Duschen saknar duschslang och vattnet kommer bara rakt ner från taket. Inget duschdraperi, man måste ta ut allt som kan bli blött från badrummet innan man duschar. Frukost - Det står att frukost ingår, dock består denna av plastförpackade choklad-croissanter, ett par bananer plus någon annan frukt (var olika), nån nöt/havre-bar och multivitamin-festis som dagligen sattes in på rummet. Övrigt - Smala, branta trappor utan hiss. Ingen reception, man måste lyckas få kontakt med hotellet för att bestämma när man ska komma och checka in om man kommer vid annan tid än incheckningstid. Sängen - Man ligger rakt på madrassen och känner varenda fjäder i sängen, vilket skapade en del ryggvärk.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer gebucht und erhielten ein kleines Apartment mit eigenem Eingang, Bad und voll ausgestatteter Küche. Das Mobiliar ist bunt zusammen gewürfelt und schon etwas älter, aber zweckmäßig und bequem, die sanitären Einrichtungen und das Bett sind gut bis sehr gut und der Schlaf-/Wohnraum ist geräumig. Die Lage ist top und Rosie als Vermieterin einfach ein Schatz! Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir kommen gerne hierher zurück.

Ottima posizione (pochi minuti da Oxford Circus). Ottimo per alloggiare in zona centrale per essere bene collegati a tutti. Il titolare Ugo e la sua assistente persone cordiali. Camere piccole ma pulite. Colazione fornita con qualche snack e caffè instantaneous in camera, niente di più (a me non e mai interessata la colazione in albergo quindi mi è indifferente). Se vogliamo trovare dei lati negativi sono l’obbligo di pagare in contanti all’arrivo ( cosa non ben segnalata durante la procedura di prenotazione) ma il prezzo è molto onesto per essere in central London (60 £ a notte). Camere piccole ma non importa ci si deve solo dormire! Comfort del letto migliorabile (bozze e molle) ma niente di indecente. Bagno piccolo (se siete sovrappeso potreste fare fatica a muovervi). Scale molto strette e ripide, no ascensore ( chi ha problemi di movimento/anzianità/grandi bagagli segnali la cosa per farsi mettere al primo piano). Nel complesso struttura buona e posizione tattica. Lo considererò ancora!

Clean and affordable
The hotel was clean and comfortable enough to be well worth the rather affordable rate compared to other hotels in this area of London. The pictures on the site were very accurate, and there were no unwelcome surprises. Also, the lady who welcomed me in was very lovely. I'd say this place is great for backpackers and general travelers who are looking for affordable housing and good location, not luxury hotels. In case you have any disabilities or physical challenges, please note that the stairs are narrow and steep - no problem for a general traveler but I could imagine them causing problems for elderly or people with a lot of luggage. The same goes for the shared bathroom, that was quite small.

Très beau bâtiment dans une rue calme, ma chambre donnait sur l'autre côté de la rue, donc sur des bâtiments, donc pas de vue. Tout était très propre, la douche était par contre rudimentaire. Petit déjeuner correct et le gérant est très sympathique.

Vietin Lontoossa 5 vuorokautta huhtikuun lopussa 2019. Yövyin Gosfield House Hotellissa. Hotellin sijainti on loistava, lähellä Oxford Street:ä kuitenkin hyvin hiljaisella kadulla. Hotelli on Victorian aikainen talo, kapea, korkea, narisevat lattiat. Italialais lähtöiset pitäjät ovat ystävällisiä ja huolehtivia. Mikäli kykenet nousemaan rappusia, et vaadi luksusta ja pidät persoonallisuudesta suosittelen lämpimästi.
