My first night was in a corner room on the 4th floor which faced out towards the busy Euston Rd. It was incredibly hot in the room (and landing areas too) and remained so even after switching the heating off. The hotel told me that aircon was not available at this time of year, so I had to keep the windows open all night listening to horrendous traffic noise!
Having had little or no sleep I asked for a quieter room the next day and whilst the traffic noise was slightly reduced, unfortunately the interior walls are very thin, so it was a crying baby, a noisy neighbour on a hands free call and a couple shouting at each other in the room above!
Needless to say I checked out and found another place to stay tonight.
The hotel is old, has no sound proofing and metal single glazed windows, so unfortunately the rooms are very noisy.
I shan’t be going back sorry.
