Unprofessional, Amateurish, Extremely Poor.
This was without doubt the worst experience of booking a stay in London. I shall never make a booking at a OYO hotel again and I have advised friends, family and work colleagues to steer clear. I booked 4 nights at My Stay Inn in Earl's Court, London. When I arrived the front door was locked and another customer was also trying to gain access. After 30 minutes on a call I was told by the call centre that they didn't have a room for me despite my having a confirmation. The other customer found that when she went to her room it was already occupied. She eventually gave up in frustration and just left. I said that I was not prepared for them to locate another OYO hotel nearby and to cancel my booking. They refused to do that so I simply left and checked in elsewhere. A guest at the hotel said that he had seen the same thing with several other bookings on previous days. To me this is nothing more than a breach of contract and might be considered sharp practice or a scam. Overbook your rooms then refuse to cancel or refund to very angry and frustrated customers. Crap.

Not a hotel in the common use of the term.
The code to enter the front door was not provided, the carpet throughout the structure, including in the room was dirty, there was a-tip on the floor and it was not mine, the Wi-Fi did not work, the receptionist/cleaning person did not speak English, the shower had lukewarm water. I understand that the price is extremely low, so the sink is the size of that of an airplane, the size of the room being extra small and the bed is home made with scraps of wood, but that does not in my view justify everything else neglect. It should not be publicized as a hotel, but a hostel probably.

Die Rezeption ist nicht täglich besetzt und erst nach einer Stunde Wartezeit (und einem Anruf bei Hotels.com) konnten wir jemanden auf einer der 5 angegebenen Nummern erreichen. Die Reinigungskraft die uns zum Zimmer brachte konnte kein Englisch und eine Verständigung war somit nur durch Google Übersetzer möglich. Das wlan funktionierte während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht. Auch nachdem wir die Kontaktperson angeschrieben haben und ein neues Netzwerk und Passwort erhalten haben, ging dieses nicht. Die Sauberkeit lies leider sehr zu wünschen übrig. In den bereitgestellten Tassen war Staub, die Duschkabine hatte Flecken auf dem Boden und Rost an der brause. Auf dem Teppichboden waren Flusen und Flecken. An der Garderobe hing nur ein einziger Bügel. Obwohl wir eine Woche im Hotelzimmer waren wurden weder die Bettwäsche noch die Handtücher ausgetauscht. Das Wasser in der Duschkabine lief erst nach einer Stunde ab, somit konnten wir diese auch nie ordentlich ausspülen da es sich direkt wieder gestaut hat. Ich bin mir dessen bewusst das wir kein Vermögen für die Unterkunft bezahlt haben, dafür kann ich gut und gerne in der Ausstattung und dem Service Abstriche machen aber wenn es um die Grund Hygiene und Sauberkeit geht, verstehe ich ein nachlässiges Verhalten nicht.

Not a fan when hotels list that they have wifi when it actually does not work. I also contacted them about it and they said it will be fixed butdureing my stay it did not work.

셀프 체크인 호텔이라는 안내를 전혀 미리 받지 못한 채 도착해서 게시된 안내 내용을 보고 이메일을 보내서 겨우 방배정을 받았습니다. 당연히 미리 이메일로 안내해 주었어야할 내용이었습니다. 호텔 내 상주 직원이 없어 불편했고(체크인이 가능한 오후 3시에 도착했음에도 불구하고), 배정받은 방의 창은 전혀 방음이 되지 않아 잠을 이루기 어려웠으며, 완전히 내부 바닥이 까맣게 타버린 커피포트가 있어서 이메일로 항의하여 다른 방에 있는 것으로 교체하여 사용했습니다. 우연히 복도에서 만난 다른 여행객은 밤에 도착하여 이메일 안내 답장을 전혀 받지 못해 급하게 다른 숙소에서 잠을 자고 이튿날 아침에 다시 호텔로 와서 항의 연락을 하는 등 황당한 일을 겪었습니다.

This is a good budget place in a great area of London. The problem issue is with the management of check-in as there is no front desk. There is a central number (the only number on the confirmation email) that co-ordinates properties the accommodation group owns - - and while helpful they have no real understanding of how this property works eg telling me there was reception there! - this was when I rang them to confirm checkin arrangements after noting in reviews there had been regular issues with checkin/codes. (I had also emailed them unsuccessfully) The issue it panned out is that you are meant to get sent an email link with the security codes for the front door and to access your own unit door once inside - however these links are not always being sent or something! - with the result that people turn up at check-in time and can't get in! There is only a mobile number on the door to ring (so you need a local sim etc) and the person is not always available (understandably) so if you are lucky someone will be arriving/leaving and let you in the main door where you can wait in the corridor till you can get hold of the local co-ordinator to get details to access your room! This is what happened to us, and to 2 groups of people arriving when we were leaving! I have registered my concerns with the phone check-in person who will pass it on and I hope they are able to manage check-in better in the future as this is a good budget stay otherwise.

Horrible ! Une fois arrivé à l'hôtel j'ai appelé le numéro fournit durant 30 minutes ('self-checkin') : je n'ai pas eu de réponses. Bilan, nous sommes resté devant la porte, pas d'informations pour rentrer dans notre chambre. Nous avons dû trouver un autre hôtel, en plus le paiement était déjà fait !

Great value stay for New Years. Good condition room, tiny but still great. Getting in touch with the property was a pain, since I needed the 4 digit code before entering. Number goes unanswered generally and no replies to emails, even Expedia couldn't get in touch with them for 2 days. I then found their details online somehow. Would suggest improving their contact details, both email and phone. They did apologize, but still - needless stress for what should be standard customer service.

Good value budget hotel room in a handy location. Great for tube station but also not too far to walk to v&a harrods etc. room very tiny. Getting access into the hotel was a real problem. The keypad is temperamental& does not work consistently .... The helpline was not manned constantly & I was not the only guest who found themselves outside unable to gain access. The lack of a manned reception means you need to have a 24hr manned phone line. Or an upgraded door entry system. Overall a good value budget place to stay.

The room got changed at the last minute. And it was small but what we expected. It was a bit dirty and run down and the mattress was really soft. There was a constant creaking throughout the night as well. Overall did not sleep well.

NO RESERVEIS ESTE HOTEL. Es un FRAUDE y por lo tanto la peor experiencia de mi vida. Quizás cometimos el error de reservar sin leer comentarios. Después de hacerlo íbamos con miedo y al llegar allí los peores presagios se hicieron realidad. Se supone que al reservar te envían en un email (tras hacer un supuesto check in) un código para entrar. Nunca lo recibimos ni siquiera tras varios emails, whatsapp, llamadas en la última de ellas nos dijeron que allí en la recepción nos la darían. Al llegar, no existe ni cartel en la puerta ni por lo tanto recepción, después de más de dos horas hablando con ellos por telefono, se ríen de ti, te dan números falsos a los que llamar y te dejan tirado en la calle teniendo que pagar otro hotel para poder pasar la noche. Un vecino nos dijo que a diario ocurría lo mismo, que veia a personas allí esperando y hablando por telefono y nunca nadie llegaba a abrirles. Además de la vergüenza que es que estes allí y quien te coge el telefono te habla un inglés que jamás vas a entender puesto que no quieren que les entiendas e incluso creemos que no son ni ingleses pues su nivel lingüístico es pobre. Te ponen música al telefono, te hacen preguntas del tipo ¿que ves en la puerta del hotel? ¿esta seguro que está en la puerta? para que creas que eres tu el que esta perdido, y no es así. Estoy seguro que las buenas puntuaciones son de gente de su propia organización. Reservamos con expedia y vamos a comenzar los trámites para la reclamación.

Smart and value for money..but some shortcomings
Good: Smart rooms, very comfortable bed, good location, good value for money Bad: check is supposed to be by keypad but no code sent but there is a reception? unclear procedure. TV received no channels at all and will only allow you to screen mirror from phone, no net curtain/privacy at main window and on another small window no curtain at all, so very light at night.

Worst living experience ever ! The air-con could not function at all. The staff first told us she would arrange technician or change the room for us the next day. But then on the next day, the staff said that the air-con’s issue is a common problem to all the rooms and no technician could come to fix at the moment and no room could be changed. After checking other reviews on the property, I found that the air-con has long been an issue, which means that the hotel had not fixed the problem at all. Second, the property is located near the roads and the rooms are not soundproofed, so you can experience all sort of noisy traffics day and night. Third, there is a ridiculous light installed right outside our window which was so bright that heavily affect our sleeping. Not to mention other issues such as flooding in the bathroom and the ridiculous under-sized toilet seat resulting in a large gap in the front.

really pleased to have a kettle with big cups ,not mentioned on the booking,I think it should be ,usb charging facility on electrical sockets was good wifi worked.unfortunately couldnt get the tv to work but it didnt matter as was out till gone 11pm,the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall overall a great space to stay for the price,half hour walk from royal albert hall,happy to reccomend this property

Das unser Zimmer direkt auf die Straße zeigte. Sehr schlecht geschlafen da die Fenster kaum Schall geschützt sind.
