Really enjoyed the homely feel of the accommodation.Trish, the host was always on hand for any questions and a chat.Close to West Kensington tube station, a Sainsbury's local and a Tesco Superstore slightly further away, grocery shopping was very convenient.Enjoyed my stay and hope to again.

Cozy, quiet neighborhood

Sweet little flat in a great location

The hosts were lovely, welcoming, friendly, and easy to communicate with. The flat had everything I needed and was a cozy, comfortable home base, well situated for getting everywhere I needed to go. I look forward to staying again!

A Great Flatlet in Kensington

A great spot! Cozy one-bedroom flatlet with a private full kitchen and bath. Plenty of room for a solo traveler. Host was very courteous and accommodating. Neighborhood is very quiet but still quite convenient to both the rest of Kensington and the Underground.

Great place to stay for your visit toLondon

Cute little property in great London location with plenty of bus and trains close by. Trish is a great host who goes the extra mile to make your stay as stress free as possible and, of course, Ozzy is an adorable cuddlebug.

Cozy and cute

The listing and reviews are very accurate. Trish and Kim are delightful and I very much appreciated the groceries to start me off. What a nice touch. Location, location, location. . The tube is handy and there are multiple bus lines. Many stores and restaurants in the area and I tried the recommendations Trish has in her house book of handy information and that we chatted about. A very pleasant stay, and the garden is lovely.

A great little flat for the solo traveler

A wonderful little flat, within waking distance of everything one needs to explore in London. A welcoming host, thoughtful welcome package and a delightful space in which to recover from a day of exploring. Great space for solo travelers

Trish was a wonderful host and very attentive to any guest needs (such as providing extra blankets and food at the beginning of the stay). The flatlet provides you with a great combination of feeling safe while being independent. I hope to be able to visit again!

Cozy spot, lovely hosts!

This flatlet made the perfect home base for my trip to London! It's a cozy little place with all the things you'll need. The location felt safe and quiet but wasn't far from central London by tube. Trish was so kind and helpful! I'd stay here again!

Lovely flatlet

Great Property, Great Location

I had a delightful stay at Trish and Kim's property in West Kensington. The proximity to the tube station made it convenient, and the flatlet was both quiet and tidy. Trish and Kim were lovely hosts, making my experience all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The best part of this rental is Trish, the host. She is warm and welcoming and as a solo traveler it was nice to say hi in the morning and then hi again in the evening on my return. She was always interested in how my day went and had helpful suggestions. She is good at checking in but not in an overbearing way. Trish is an excellent communicator and was there when I arrived to guide me through their own apartment and give me a tour of the rental. The "flatlet" is just the right size for one person with a kitchen which I loved because I make my own breakfast and pack a lunch. The kitchen was basic and had everything I needed. The rental itself is clean; I would say adequately clean. All the important areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were comfortably clean, and the bed itself was also comfortable. I was there in late October and so didn't open any windows. The apartment is in the basement of the building, and it has a musty smell. I think if the weather allowed me to open windows, it wouldn't smell as musty. As I said it's in the basement, but the ceilings are high and there are many windows - kitchen, bath and bedroom. So, you don't feel like it's a basement. The location is amazing! So close to two underground stops and not far from a small Sainsbury and a little bit further to a full-on Tesco. And the street the rental is on is truly quiet; I never heard traffic or any other noise from the street.

Wonderful!

The accommodations are perfect for a single traveler who has never been to London! Very close to the tube system. Easy to get around. The hosts are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when traveling solo!!

Short stay in West Kensington

I stayed here for three nights. The location is great, short walk away from the underground and I felt very safe when walking to and from on my own. Trish is a great host who welcomed me I from the get go and was very kind and friendly. If I’m coming to London again I will definitely look into staying here again! :)

A wonderful home away from home

Great location! Fabulous host! The flat is spacious and has everything you could possibly need to feel comfortable and completely at home. The garden is right outside the bedroom window and was my place to have morning tea. I could have happily moved in permanently!

Comfort and secure accommodation

The flatlet suited me perfectly, the location was very convenient and well suited to someone travelling alone. I did not have any difficulty with access although note that the description on the listing of stairs to access is correct, this could be tricky if you are not able bodied. Trish was extremely helpful and accommodating both with check in and ensuring I had everything I needed to make my stay very comfortable. I was extremely happy in my time there.

If you’re looking for a cozy little nest, close to everything and especially the Tube look no further! And Trish is the absolute best ever. Friendly and helpful. Super nice person. She even stocked the fridge with basics! I had a grand time!

Lovely. Would stay again.

Your host is generous, respectful, friendly and kind. I showed up a little the worse for wear and Trish went out of her way to see that I was made comfortable and had all I required. The pretty garden is a joy to wake up to. The flatlet has everything you need. The kitchen is very well stocked. Both Trish and Kim are levels people and Ozzy, the cat, a perfect gentleman.

Three Week Stay

Mrs. Walker was a gracious host and very helpful in every way and became a great friend. Trish and Kim will look out for you. If your single there's security staying there. The location is close to a tube station and that was really great. Oh, by the way, Ozzie the cat loves chicken :)

Amazing location

Wonderful area to explore, also easy access to underground and transport to other areas of London. Host very responsive and helpful. Flat very small but comfortable. I’d echo the other reviews I’ve read re the bathroom situation - adding a fixed shower head and curtain would make things more practical for guests. Wifi also a big issue, as I’ve read in other reviews - little to no wifi access and mobile data patchy while in flat. However, overall a comfortable, well located and welcoming stay.

Great Stay in London

This little apartment is located in a nice area of London with restaurants, markets and tube nearby. Trish the owner is fantastic. She is always there if you need her and very accommodating to your needs. The apartment kitchen is nicely equipped and Trish had stocked the fridge with an abundance of things so I didn’t have to go out shopping immediately. Had a wonderful time in the adorable flat. Would gladly be a repeat customer!!

Excellent location to transport & local shops. Found bedroom very small & cramped. No room if you have large suitcase, especially if having to navigate narrow small stairs. Felt cleaning standards could have been of a higher standard. standard.

West Kensington Flatlet

Clean, quiet, safe, wifi. Exceptional, very kind, thoughtful, gracious hosts that truly go above and beyond to ensure their guest is well cared for and helped, when needed. I was vey comfortable staying in the flatlet and always felt safe coming back from a concert or an event. West Kensington Station is a pleasant walk away, great services are within close proximity.
