    The Space:

    Walkable convenience in the heart of Long Beach is yours at this all-new cottage! Completed in 2022, this retreat offers prime coastal living and all the modern comforts of home. Make the most of the outdoors with morning coffee on the covered front porch and afternoon cookouts using the gas grill on the covered back deck. The yard is also fenced for safe all-day play. There is a security camera that covers the parking area for the safety of our guests.



    The bright, single-level interior comes well-appointed with stylish design and updated furnishings throughout. Plan at-home meals easily in the stainless steel full kitchen and dine together at the table set for six. The living area sets the stage for casual downtime with a cozy gas fireplace, plush seating, a smart TV, and a collection of board games for added family fun. The bedrooms also come equipped with a smart TV for guest convenience.



    Home essentials include thermostat-controlled space heaters in each room, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.



    THINGS TO KNOW

    EV charger is located on the front porch on the northeast corner. Please bring your own charging cord. (240 volt, 50 amp, straight)

The house was really cute, and set up perfectly. The hot tub was really wonderful under the stars, good location. Beds are more on the firm side, but we slept good anyway. Highly Recommend this home, it was really fun.

We had a very relaxing and comfortable time at this cottage. The amenities were great and the place was so welcoming. Loved the hot tub and fenced in yard for the pups. Neighbor was very nice and the neighborhood was very quiet (off season). Would definitely stay again!

The house needs a deep cleaning. We also were not provided an extra kitchen garbage bag or adequate toilet paper for 5 people and 3 nights. We had to go to town and purchase both at our own expense. Vacasa manages this house and so the interaction with hosts is impersonal.

Good luck getting in. Instructions to get into the unit included a 10 PIN number for the keypad that didn’t work. I reached out to let them know via the message app (no phone number given to try to call) and just continued trying while I waited for an answer. Took about 50 more attempts for it to finally let us in. We quickly changed to go to dinner reservations we had for my wife’s birthday and realized our vehicle key was in the pants I had changed out of and found ourselves locked out of the house as the keypad wouldn’t work at all now no matter how many attempts I made. I contacted the host again asking for the lockbox code that was mounted next to the door that had a physical key in it to use until the issue was resolved. I got no response until 4:30am the next morning. We ended up missing our reservation and walking a couple miles into town to eat something while we waited for a response. With no response still, I found an open window and climbed through it for access. I then drove back into town to buy a new battery and replaced it in the hopes this was the issue. This was not the issue and we continued to leave a window open to climb through for the entire weekend. The place was nice but communication was useless with the host. I’ve put screenshots in the review of the conversation in case they have a reply contrary to my review. Would have been nice for them to at least offer to cover the cost of the battery if not a discount on our stay for our troubles.

Amazing stay!

The house was very welcoming to come in to. Minutes from the town center and also in walking distance from a nice pub and bakery. Couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s very quiet and quaint. Loved our stay!
