"The Room was clean and tidy, Bar excellent and restaurant good. The Canaduan Receptionist was excellent My only issue is the shower in the room, it had a fabric curtain which was clingy and extremely annoying and leaked water on to the bathroom floor. Fabric curtains are a product of the 70s and should remain there.. the hotel needs to upgrade to modern shower doors."

"Amazing view. The property was not clean at all (underneath beds, dampness smell, cupboards, dust in all places and crumbs in couch). Apart from cleanliness, everything was perfect"

"Absolutely amazing view. Short walk to town centre of Russell. Beds were comfortable, shower was great, had everything I needed in the kitchen. And there was a Ping pong table in the garage for rainy days. We took the passenger ferry over to Paihia and then walked to the Waitangi treaty grounds (although there is a free shuttle from the ferry landing to the grounds if you prefer). All round great stay in Russell. "

"Well appointed room and lovely welcome from owners on arrival. Really good views of Russell township and the water / boats. Only thing I would say, bring some strong legs if you plan on walking - the driveway is STEEP hahaaaa. Had a very pleasant stay (5 nights)."

"House was neat, clean and spacious. Liked the location of the house from town - just not location next to the noisy busy main road. Enjoyed evenings on the back deck watching tide come and go."
