「The Mermaid Inn is one of our favorite motels. The rooms are decorated with a Mermaid/nautical style with some retro appliances. Overall gives a very homey feeling. Rooms are very clean, staff is really friendly and helpful. 「We have been to this facility many times before, it is always making improvements.」

「Nice having your own private cottage, great price, and very friendly staff. Restaurant on site is wonderful」

「My 16 year old daughter and I traveled from Tennessee to Washington and Oregon, and this was one of my most favorite places we visited! It’s so quiet, romantic, & charming! I plan to come back one day! The food is amazing, the coffee shop, and bookstore is a short walk away, boats are beautiful against the sunset, and Cape Disappointment State Park is stunning!」

「Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Felt more like a guest room than motel room mainly due to the thoughtfully chosen decorations and amenities. Parking was excellent and dog walking was convenient. Not fancy looking and the walls were thin - that is all there would be to keep from excellent status. Would return in a heartbeat.」

「The room was just okay. Fine for a one night stay. The staff however, were fantastic! So nice and accommodating. The rooms decor was cute but the room wasn't that clean. Ex. there were still coffee stains on furniture from the previous guests. if you just need a place to lay your head without any frills then this fits the bill. Otherwise, I would probably stay at a different hotel.」
